Hi Margaret! Thanks for taking the time to provide us with your feedback here. All of our recipes were formulated with the help of expert animal nutritionists like Dr. Susan Lauten and Dr. Richard Patton. They’ve made sure our food is the very best option for the healthiest, happiest cats! While our food isn't specifically designed for cats with urinary issues, it can work well at helping to avoid them and to break down any struvite crystals! The food helps with this in a few ways. Intuitively, more moisture from food means more urine flow, which makes it harder for urinary issues to form. Less intuitively, high protein foods like Smalls are more acidic than low-protein foods, and this acid helps break down things like crystals before they can form!
