We've learned from customers with cats and dogs who do not enjoy the driving experience that an extended acclimation period goes a long way to mitigating the fear and anxiety of traveling. Start slowly, building up to longer rides. Take a look at this video for tips - https://youtu.be/JA4HEU2y1qU?si=YDzaY5g3UF8cF9pD We hope the following information addresses your seatbelt attachment concern: All Sleepypod car safety restraints have been rigorously crash tested using Sleepypod’s proprietary crash test dummies at U.S., Canadian, and E.U. child safety seat standards, then independently tested by the Center for Pet Safety (CPS), earning top safety ratings. Sleepypod carriers are the only carriers that have earned certification by CPS at their new standard that reflects the new 213B crash test standards for child safety restraints. Thank you for sharing your experience here. The Clickit car harnesses are now sold with a seatbelt S-clip, so there should have been one in the package with a Buckle Shield accessory. We'll ask someone in our customer experience department to contact you next week. Unfortunately, the team is working remotely due to the fires near our offices in California.
