Dont expect it to be in place throughout the night
The band is comfortable but honestly within a few days, I noticed it always comes off easily while using it. I dont move alot while sleeping but every morning I realize it's on my bed instead of my head.

Having a snug fit headband will eliminate the headband from slipping and the speakers from moving around within the band after you position them. All of our products come in the following three sizes: Extra Small, One Size Fits Most and Extra Large. This is so much better than wearing …
This is so much better than wearing regular earphones or ear plugs. I turn this on and am able to sleep next to my loudly snoring husband. At first I was worried about the cord, but it doesn't bother me at all.

Great way to fall asleep. Worth the extra money for the SleepPhones Effortless.
I originally had the SleepPhones wireless but it stopped charging after a year. SleepPhones honored the 1-year warranty even though it was technically 1 year and 2 days after the order date. I have now upgraded to the SleepPhones Effortless and it is worth the extra money for the induction charging. The SleepPhones Wireless were a bit of a pain to charge since you need to fish the Bluetooth module out of the headband, unplug the earbuds, and then plug in the micro USB (non reversible) plug. The sound escapes easily so I must keep the volume fairly low (particularly with dialogue) to not disturb my wife. Not a huge deal, but something to be aware of. I find the Bluetooth module is too bulky to sleep on comfortably but it you position it on a side of your head that you will not sleep on it should not be a problem. No issue with battery life even if you lie awake for hours. I've had insomnia for decades and listening to sleep podcasts has really helped me quiet my mind to fall asleep!

Long time user
The service staff is great. The product is not. I use these headband speakers every night they do not appear to be made for this kind of constant use. One speaker will fail , the rechargeable Bluetooth unit has died many times. It is a great idea for a product and I hope it gets better

Comfortable, but do not block my spouse's snoring
The SleepPhones are very comfortable, but they do not block outside noise, in particular, my spouse's snoring. Unfortunately, I had to revert to my old earbuds, which are far less comfortable, but do block the snores.

If you listen to music, you can camouflage outside sounds such as snoring. However, the product does not have any external equipment to eliminate noise. We market the product as noise blocking rather than noise canceling. Some of our customers listen to music to calm them which enables them to fall asleep faster, while reducing background noise. Many customers also listen to music all throughout the night and do find that it does help to block out their partner's snoring. I have purchased several styles of sleep phones and find them so comfortable. I use them almost every night and travel with them as well.They have excellent customer service too.
