If you've been thinking about joining the Sky Society Accelerator.... DO IT!!! Before joining this program, I felt directionless on what I wanted out of my future career after graduating college with a degree in Marketing, but after the accelerator I feel like I have a much more clear understanding of the marketing world. This program is called the accelerator for a reason. 8 weeks filled of projects such as SEO Blog Posts (keyword researching), Email newsletters , Influencer marketing (outreaching), and many more. Also group projects working with other marketing girlies on Paid Ad's, Competitive Analysis, Virtual Events. Although you learn so much in a short span of time, I will warn those who have full time jobs and/or other obligations , it can be a bit overwhelming at first starting off, but as long as you manage your time effectively and work with your schedule, you will get adjusted to it. The Sky Society team is also so encouraging and kind like the TA (Andrea) and Instructor (Bri) who just want to see their students succeed and make sure they graduate on time so they can begin applying for marketing jobs!! Even after the program is over, you still get access to the portal and additional resources to help support you in your career journey and navigating the complex job market. Plus, you get to work with a community full of talented, like-minded marketing girlies who are all rooting for each other to win and have the same goals in mind which is getting our dream marketing jobs! The best investment I made for my career journey:) 10/10 highly recommend this program

I had the best time at the Accelerator. I had been putting off building a portfolio for the longest time mainly because I didnt really have anything to put on it. After the Accelerator not only do I have an amazing portfolio but I feel so confident applying for jobs because I now understand the requirements and tools better.

My experience was great! It was super informational and provided lots of hands on real world experience. The peer and mentor support is amazing to have and everyone is there for you. My resume and portfolio are so much stronger. I feel more confident and I’m excited for what this experience with bring me and my career!

Sky Society was a fantastic way to gain experience and show my potential in a difficult job market post-grad. For the girls who aren’t willing to settle or take a gamble on their careers, Sky Society is the best way to invest in yourselves. I gained hands-on experience in content strategy and creation, email marketing, paid social, SEO, influencer marketing, and events. I now have a portfolio overflowing with experience when I haven’t even had a full time job yet! For me, the community was the absolute best part. My classmates’ constant support is truly what helped me come out of my shell and believe in myself as a marketer.

I LOVE sky society and what they are doing!! I had 0 marketing experience coming into the program and now I feel very confident in my portfolio and tangible experience. I also felt extremely supported through out the whole process and I want to echo what everyones favorite part is, the community. I actually see myself staying connected with a few classmates :)

I without a doubt feel more equipped to apply for marketing roles now than I ever did before taking the accelerator. There’s a big community of women to connect with and a lot to be learned, I’m definitely grateful for my experience with Sky Society.

As a girly who is in college and looking for a way to stand out as I graduate soon, the Sky Society was the perfect way to do exactly that! I primarily watched lecture and each lecture was perfectly engaging and informative while being tailored to the current market and industry. The projects and collaboration was the perfect way to get hands on experience while also working with like minded girls working towards the same goal. I would definitely recommend this to any girl looking a way to get experience and really stand out!

This program was SO helpful!!! I graduated college with a degree in Marketing, and honestly, I never learned a lot of the skills and tools we covered in this program. I loved that the accelerator focused on up to date software and industry tools because those are exactly the types of skills employers are looking for. It gave me the opportunity to learn things I wish I had been taught in college and made me feel more prepared for the workforce. I also made some great connections with the girls in my cohort! Everyone was so supportive, encouraging, and genuinely wanted to help each other succeed. I’m really grateful for the community I was able to build through the program! One thing I would mention is that the program can be a bit more challenging to balance if you work full time. There were definitely times when balancing work, the accelerator, and everyday life felt overwhelming, especially when trying to keep up with assignments and deadlines. I really appreciated that extensions are available for students when needed, because that gives students some flexibility when life or work gets busy. However, I think it is important for students to know that taking an extension may mean that they do not finish or graduate from the program with the original cohort timeline. Overall, I would recommend this 8-week accelerator program!
