Sky Society AcceleratorReviews of skysociety.co

As someone who has never taken a marketing class or course in my life, Sky Society was everything I needed and more to take my skillset and freelance experience to the next level. I feel so much more confident in my knowledge base, in pitching myself to potential clients and employers and just in my overall marketing experience. I've made true connections with the ladies in my program and grown my professional network and I'm so grateful to the Sky Society team for creating a safe, comfortable, collaborative space for us to learn in and from. I would recommend the Sky Society Accelerator program over and over again!

The sky society accelerator was such an amazing experience. As someone who learns hands on and didn’t feel confident from what I was learning in college, the accelerator gave me everything I was looking for and MORE! I was able to explore every outlet of marketing, hear from actual marketing professionals working in industries I’m interested in, and gain access to so many marketing resources and tips. I had the most encouraging and loving teacher, Briana, who poured her heart into every student. Having a team who cares about your success makes such a difference and it’s something I am extremely grateful for!! I would definitely recommend the accelerator to anyone looking to strengthen their portfolio, build their confidence, or network with other women in marketing. This is also a good program for anyone branching out into marketing as a new career path.

Overall, I was impressed with Sky Society's Accelerator program. As someone with a PR background who graduated several years ago, it was helpful to learn marketing fundamentals and gain practical, applicable experience that I could actually add to my portfolio. I registered for the 50/50 option (attend both live + recorded lessons) due to my work schedule. The lessons were engaging, and the instructor Bri was super knowledgable, positive, and friendly. The assignments were pretty clear and detailed, and either Bri or the TA, Andrea, were responsive any time I needed clarification. My main critiques are some of the group projects could have been individual assignments, especially given the quick eight-week pace of the program. I also wish there were perhaps ways to gain portfolio experience with other brands beyond just Sky Society's brand. Otherwise, I would recommend this program overall. I also liked having access to various mentor workshops and learning about different niches within marketing from professionals at top companies. I connected with some very fun, like-minded girls in my cohort too!

I had a wonderful experience with the Accelerator. It exceeded far beyond my expectations! I had so much to add to my portfolio and feel like I had someone to turn to with every challenge. The community of girls is truly unlike anything I could have imagined, so supportive and kind!

The Sky Society Accelerator was an amazing experience. I learned from amazing mentors. I was also able to learn about different sectors of marketing that I didn’t get to touch on in college. Although learning is important Sky Society also gave me access to an amazing network of women who were in the same boat as me and it was truly inspiring being able to meet and connect with them.

The Sky Society Accelerator is amazing for girls who want to dive into marketing and gain experience fast! I'm about to graduate and have learned so much. I'm currently in college for communication and marketing and have honestly learned more in the Accelerator than I have in college. It is definitely worth it if you want to work in marketing, especially beauty, fashion, or entertainment marketing!

Sky Society’s Accelerator program was the perfect solution for someone like me who has professional experience but lacking marketing experience and looking to pivot industries. The 8-week course was very well-rounded in providing information about different marketing roles and assignments that put the learnings into practice. It was great getting to network and build relationships with classmates and be inspired by everyone’s passion and work ethic.

If you’re thinking about applying to the Accelerator Program, this is your sign to submit your application! I had an amazing experience during my time in the program. I saw my marketing skills grow tremendously while gaining real-world experience in areas like influencer outreach, SEO blog writing, and social media content creation. These are opportunities that you don’t always get from a traditional marketing program. Beyond the hands-on experience, I also connected with so many like-minded women who are working toward similar goals and looking to grow their careers. Each week, I felt more inspired, confident, and prepared to take the skills I learned and apply them to the real world of marketing. I truly cannot recommend the Accelerator Program enough!
