I arrived a half hour early for my appointment and still managed to wait until 15 minutes after my scheduled time to be seen. I did not cause a fuss, but wondered why none of the front desk assistants felt the need to check in with me/update me about my facialist's tardiness. Instead, they argued over who would take the next break. As a result of my appointment running late, my facialist rushed through the facial which -- as you can imagine -- made for an especially uncomfortable experience. Did not tip as generously as I ordinarily might and would not have purchased the service had I known how the procedure might go.

My Skin Spa appointments are always prompt. The Upper East Side location team always provides great service, the front desk to the technician. It is very clean, and I always feel welcomed for my wax, laser and tanning sessions.

I really like this place, nice and clean. Girls are professional. It just was my first time but I know I will go again.

Always feel welcomed and comfortable when undergoing a brazilian laser hair removal treatment.

UPDATE: Please see the response from Skin Spa below, THERE IS NOTHING IN THE EMAIL CONFIRMING CASH TIP. If I could upload a photo I would, but nope. I went over the offer email, the confirmation email, the follow up email....nowhere. So before you respond incorrectly to try and feign interest, like you are actively aware of your customers, speak the truth. Also - please be honest about why you stopped credit card tipping - it is to save YOU taxes...no other reason. Even the checkout guy admitted that to me, as would anyone. I don't care that much, until you responded with complete dishonesty - don't you understand most customers just want the truth? I also stopped going there because you lost all the decent massage therapists to other places because you were terrible to work for. I know this time she straight out of school, so I won't be surprised when she is gone in a few months. --------------------------------------------------------- My massage was great!!! the massage therapist was amazing, and very nice. When i go to checkout I find out they don't allow tips on the credit card (they used to, so this was new to me). since I live around the corner I had gone with just my phone and credit card, not my atm card, and told him I didn't have an atm card on me. He proceeded to chastise me and tell me it was "CLEARLY written in all emails and appointment reminders" I looked at all my emails and appt reminders, it was NOWHERE to be found. I pointed that out to him, he said "oh, well, I will be sure to let my general manager know" and then I found a $5 I had and said, at least I can leave this until I can come back with cash. He said "Well, at leasst it is sooooommmmething" - sorry YOU failed to make your policy known ahead of time

The staff are wonderful - very friendly and polite. Everyone focuses on the costumer. I have been going here for almost a year and their service does not disappoint. I would highly recommend.

I discovered the Spa over a year ago . Since going ; I have seen a tremendous difference in my skin . They take proud in what they do , and that's why their the best !
