Buyer Beware!!! I ordered the trial offer and pd the $4.95 for shipping and before my trial size came and I could try the chocolate they billed my credit card another $34.99. When I called they said I had 7 days to cancel my trial even when I hadn't received my trial chocolate to make an informed decision. The would not refund my money and my trial chocolate was a greasy melted mess :( DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY IT'S A RIP OFF

I ordered a trial size, was charged $4.95 as stated. However when checking my credit card statement, I was charged $35 for a subscription that I did not agree to. I called their hotline, and requested a refund and cancelation of charges. The representative told me I did not read their"fine print" conditions . There was nothing on the site indicating charges, and they promised me a partial refund.... DO NOT BUY! TOTAL RIPOFF!!!!

I would love to give them 'zero' stars ! This is a Subscription Scam and after the 'FREE' trial on June 19, I paid $4.95. I was billed on July 2, $34.99 On July 25, I was billed $39.94 I have not recieved any Candy after the first bag . They were hard to contact and when they say they will reimburse you.....Don't Believe it !! They continue to charge your account again !

Agree- If I could rate them a zero I would. We got our "free sample" of chocolates after the $4.95 shipping fee. Then we were charged $39.94, for the next shipment. I immediately called and was told he canceled the subscription and credit my account. We did receive the credit. The following month, again I was charged $39.94 and I called and was told the subscription was never cancelled. After @ 25 minutes, she told me she credited me the full amount ( this was after two attempts to charge me the $4.95 shipping fee and multiple minutes on hold while she checked with her supervisor--felt like I was buying a car!!!) and she had canceled my subscription. She could not give me a confirmation # as it s system generated but I would get it by email. Still have not received any email from them! I plan to contact the BBB. For now, I recommend stay clear of them unless you want to spend $40.00 a month on chocolate, or spend hours on the phone arguing with their poor customer service representative.

BUYER BEWARE - THOUGH ADVERTISED AS FREE, YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR A SUBSCRIPTION OF 37.77. THIS COMPANY PROFITS OFF THE FACT THAT MOST (LIKE ME) DID NOT READ THE SUPER FINE PRINT THAT STATES THIS! DO NOT BUY - THEY ARE AN UNETHICAL COMPANY THAT WANTS TO SCAM YOU!

Candy is NO big deal......read the super fine print!!!!! You get "charged" Once you order the trial..... then the clock start ticking on your Return policy!!! So IF it takes 3 days to ship you now have ONLY 4 days to canceled you get charged!!. It IS a monthly 34.99 charge IF you do Not cancel fast enough.... VERY shady business practice.... I would NEVER deal with this company again !!!! They are Lucky you can't give 0 stars Don't get robbed like EVERYONE else on here. You KNOW the Only person to give 5 stars works there.. RIP-OFF RIP-OFF RIP-OFF ALERT!!!!! From BBB website: According to the BBB Code of Advertising 18.1, 18.2, 18.2.3, 18.2.4: •Any advertisement for a product or service that includes an offer to sell or provide consumers with additional goods or services under a negative option feature must include a clear and conspicuous disclosure of all material terms of the negative option feature. •Such material terms include: •How consumers can cancel and avoid future shipments and charges; and •How consumers can return items that they do not want. BBB contacted Skinny Me Chocolate regarding the advertising concerns. The business did not respond.

Like many of the others, my free trial box of chocolates arrived in a damaged package & were COMPLETELY melted. I called the company right away, received an apology & was told a replacement box would be sent at no charge. A couple of days later, we were charged almost $40 for an ongoing subscription they said we signed up for. What?! Despite arguing the point, they would not refund our money. We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. Buyer beware!

What a rip off! The company said I signed up for a subscription and because I didn't cancel before my 7 day trial period - they can't give me the $34.99 back. So a 11.64 ounce box of chocolates cost me $39.94. BUYER BEWARE!!
