The reports, once you get them, are very enlightening. The collection process could NOT be easier. I have tried a few other services, The Siphox collection method is far superior. My biggest issue is with their turnaround time for samples received. The sample you collect is transported overnight, but then you will wait for 2 WEEKS to get any report. If this were a cheap adventure, I'd say that you get what you pay for, but it is FAR from cheap, and so I would expect results quite a bit sooner.

The actual lab tests are good and I love the home blood draw system but I feel like they have some work to do before I would fully recommend them. When I initially purchased tests from them, the description of what tests were included with the pack was different in 3 different places (2 screens and then different again on the box I was sent); some items that were listed as included actually required buying an additional pack which was a surprise. For my second set of tests I have had daily early morning texts and email messages saying I did not register a kit I have sent to the lab, but I have not even received the kit yet…I’m on my 4th attempt to get the support team to stop these daily messages with no luck. Shipping is also slow and glitchy, both times I have had automated messages saying it is taking longer than expected for my kits to ship and they are investigating. I think eventually they will have a great service but their quality control is a bit lacking right now Update: after seeing this review, the team responded quickly to me by phone and email to resolve the issues I have been having, both with automated messaging and customer service. I really do think they are trying to provide a great service, but still have a few things to iron out. Updated my rating

I appreciated the insights into the meaning of the various tests. The recommendations weren't that helpful because I'm already doing most of those things. There was no way for the reviewers to know that since they don't collect any historical information. 'Change your diet and exercise more' is advice you can get from any website. Overall, rather disappointing.

I deferred my plan and then the billed me a day before my subscription was going to restart without a reminder email. Then I asked them to cancel and refused and sent me a link to the terms and conditions. They said I could give it to somebody or hold onto it. This sounds like a company that is concerned more about revenue than customer service. In the end they did reverse the changes but it required escalating the case to both the payment provider and within the firm.

Very slow to process samples. It’s been at the lab for 2 weeks. Definitely not the most convenient.

Ordering kits and returning samples was very easy. However, I would say the blood draw might not be for the faint of heart who are squeamish about blood or needles, as several needle pokes were necessary to get enough blood onto the collection strips (even with heat and warm-up exercise to get the blood flowing). Results came very quickly, were easy to read and came with some helpful recommendations. I signed up for an unlimited membership, intending to test every 3-4 months to track changes. I misunderstood what markers were included in the various kits and mistakenly ordered 2 kits (base panel + hormone panel) when only 1 was necessary. I was confused by the "add-on" language of the hormone panel and didn't realize it included all the base panel markers. This was cleared up in email communication and they kindly refunded one of the kits. Something to note when signing up for the unlimited membership is that they auto-ship a new test kit to you as soon as you return a kit and it is processed. I didn't catch this when signing up and would prefer to order a kit when I'm ready to retest rather than have one auto-shipped immediately. My location/shipping address changes, and I may want to test different makers; therefore, I may not always use the same kits. There were a few glitches, but SiPhox has been very helpful, and they are eager to adapt to help clarify the process. All in all a great experience. This is a great tool for people to take a proactive role in managing their health while minimizing gatekeeping and expenses.

Keep in mind if you have an unlimited subscription, they automatically ship you a new kit when your kit makes it to the lab, even if you have another kit left. If you're in Canada they'll charge shipping on it at a rate of 49$ which is ludicrous. This information isn't presented to the end-user. --- EDIT: after a lot of back and forth, the issue was escalated and they issued a partial refund for the shipping of the new kit. Ideally they'd have refunded the new kit as well. They mentioned they would update the pricing page to better reflect the charges. That remains to be seen, I'm not the first person to complain about this.
