I purchased a Nemesis 1660 laptop several months ago. After speaking with the sales agent, we determined that the online order process would result in my getting the computer for a few dollars less, so I ordered online. Shipping was prompt, and packaging was excellent. After months of daily use, it performs exactly as advertised, but the little details add up to an absolutely stellar performance overall. 1) It's sturdy. I can pick it up by the corner. I don't have to worry about damaging it with ordinary handling. Second, it's truly ergonomic. 2) The ergonomics are simply excellent. The power button is convenient, but in a place where it will never get hit accidentally. There are no sharp edges or delicate plastic surfaces. There's no flash to this machine and it doesn't need it. 3) The cooling air intakes and vents are huge - on both the bottom and multiple sides. You can put the laptop down on a soft surface and the fans don't spool up - you don't have to worry about cooling. Even gaming, the bottom of the machine never gets uncomfortably hot - it's never an issue to rest the machine on my knees. The air exiting the side vents is noticeably warm when gaming, so the heat sinks clearly get the job done. 4) The touch pad is quite slippery. It is not only precise, but it requires far less effort to use than others I have experienced. 5) It's quiet. While the fans DO ramp up impressively when gaming at full power, in any other use they're almost inaudible. And, when they are running hard, there is no annoying undertone to the fan note. I don't need headphones when gaming. 6) The speakers are adequate - nothing special but they're loud enough to get the job done for me. 7) Battery life is excellent. I can do office work or surf the web for an entire afternoon without worrying. Obviously, gaming drains the battery much faster, but that is not a usage where one should be running a laptop off the battery. 8) The programmable keyboard lighting proved surprisingly useful for me. Not everybody will need this, but I was able to use it to personalize the pattern to improve my workflow. The available moving lighting displays, on the other hand, are pointless. 9) The display is superb. Not only do I get my 120fps, the colors and angles are as good as it gets. I have only two negatives to report. First, a Microsoft update the day after I began using the system broke the sound driver. I had to go into the device manager and roll back the sound driver. Second, the charging light blinks when the computer is charging. It would be less distracting if it stayed on and changed color, say from red to green or white when the machine is fully charged. If I needed to buy another machine tomorrow, I'd buy the identical machine.

I ordered a custom built NUC10 from here which I use with an eGPU and I freaking love it... game changing as I can just use the eGPU with my NUC10 for windows or with my Mac laptops as needed. No more virtualisation with this little guy. Would very much recommend.
