Simply MovingReviews of simplymovingny.com

I booked my move with Simply Moving NY after reading all of the great reviews online and was not disappointed. The team of three showed up about half an hour earlier than our scheduled time and went to work FAST, accommodating all of my furniture, boxes and random items (mirrors, file cabinet, 60" flat screen tv, computer, etc) and carefully wrapped everything that needed extra protection. The team worked together really well and were very careful with each item, giving me great confidence that everything would arrive in once piece. Once we got to the new place, everything was carefully and quickly brought in and dropped off in the appropriate rooms - and after unpacking, everything (even super fragile stuff) was in one piece. The crew were all friendly, professional and showed no sense of frustration, even when the cops made them move the truck around the corner from the entrance of the building I was moving out of. Super patient, efficient and professional. I highly recommend Simply Moving!

Smoothest move ever! The guys were great! Thanks Simply Moving for making moving easy!

They gave a reasonable rate, had everything I needed... And even better, they were available on last minute notice. Their customer service is impeccable. Exceeds expectations.

The moving was great since the first moment. The contact before the moving was great, and when the day arrived the team that came to our place was very polite. They did an spectacular job. I absolutely recommend simply moving

I found Simply Moving on Thumbtack.com which I can't recommend enough for services like moving, cleaning etc. Simply Moving NY were responsive immediately without spamming us, pricing fair for packing up all of our things (2 bedroom/2bath) and moving us the next day. Leo, Benito, and Scott were fantastic, friendly and even helped us decide on where to place our larger furniture pieces (interior design advice was gratis). Would recommend them to any New Yorker.

Set an appointment for a move with Simply Moving on Friday 3/25/16 at 8am. The Movers got here at 8am on the dot and proceeded to move all our stuff to storage has we are in a transition move;-) The Movers (Mitchell, Keith and Dave) are very professional and took care of moving our stuff as it was their own. For our next move I will be requesting them again! Great job guys!

Guys were great and went above and beyond to make my move easy. Would use them again in a heartbeat! --L

The sub-contractors that bid for the jobs on Simply Moving were nice guys. They were not professional-grade movers, certainly. They were quite late, meaning we didn't finish until well into the night. Packing of certain items (computer stuff, food, toiletries) was a little haphazard, so there were leakages and breakages, but fragile items were taken care of. SimplyMoving could deal with tipping, and just add this to the price, to avoid getting low-ball bids by contractors who make up the difference from the client. It was made constantly clear, within the first 15 minutes and regularly after that, that 20% was the minimum and very much expected. Imagine turning up to a restaurant and having the tip scenario explained to you during and between every course.
