Simply MovingReviews of simplymovingny.com

The movers worked quickly which was nice. But they weren't particularly helpful. I did also see them smoking a cigarette while moving my mattress. Though it was wrapped I didn't appreciate that. Also our movers forgot my contract in my old apartment after I had left to go to my new apartment. They made me go back to get it which was very inconvenient.

I had a job of picking up a very heavy object that other moving companies refused to help me with. Simply moving came and was able to help me out and I couldn't be more thankful that this was finally complete. My only issue was they were aware of the capacity of the job and only brought two men. The upside was, my place of business was close to the company headquarters and they were able to have extra hands out very quickly. Overall the whole team was very helpful, courteous and hardworking. I would definitely recommend Simply Moving to everyone.

I appreciated that Simply Moving offered an affordable flat rate based on the # / type of items I had to move (i.e. furniture, boxes, luggage). They showed up on time and didn't dilly dally when moving things out. They helped disassemble my bed which was proving to be difficult given some warped parts, so thank you! They're experienced and were more familiar with my new building than I was! And they're incredibly friendly and easy to talk to while passing the time. I was pretty much useless while they were moving things in and out, but we passed the time by chatting.

I am satisfied with the guys how they handle my stuff. This is a great moving company, everything went well. Thank you!

My first big move in the country. It's been a great customer exp, right from negotiating the quote till the time the last piece of furniture was placed. The guys were amazing and helpful. Really went that extra mile to ensure that they cared about their customer. Would definitely recommend again!

Excellent, on time, professional.

Everything went as planned. I paid $350 for moving out, some $150 for storage for 2 weeks and $350 for moving in. This was amongst the cheapest prices you can find in Manhattan. The movers were quick. The first movers were a little aggressive and had issues whenever I asked questions or asked him to be careful and then asked for a $100 tip. However, Simply Moving was very nice about this and when I'd only politely informed them this (they ask to talk you after your move), they refunded it completely. I also got a $50 Yelp discount. The second move was quick and perfect. I am very pleased with the service and would definitely use them a second time.

I had a stress-free and very quick moving experience with Simply Moving, NY and would highly recommend them.
