Simpler TradingReviews of simplertrading.com

not worth the price for the indicators portion. it will not help you at all

I've been with Simpler Trading for a couple of months now. I'm enrolled in Small Accounts Mastery, Moxie Mastery, and Strike Zone Mastery. I've taken a handful of classes and am also subscribed to the Scanner service. I'm very happy with the quality of service provided and would easily recommend them to family and friends

March 29th, 2021 Genavia: I am writing in response to your query dated March 23rd, 2021 Up to this point I have found the Simpler Trading platform somewhat over whelming. You see, I am almost 85 years old and caring for my 86 years old wife who suffers dementia. So, I no longer have sufficient time, or energy, to devote to learning the platform that it deserves. We own our home and a 4-plex apartment building in Wyoming and have about $2.5 million in liquid assets. So, we don’t need additional money. We also have a very conservative money manager who handles the bulk of our funds, however I have enjoyed trading stocks for the past 15 years and I have started to learn about trading options. I am also new to Think or Swim and I still need to become familiar with that trading platform. I have read John Carter’s book, and I am slowly coming up to speed with the classes and indicators that I have purchased from Simpler Trading. Now I need to review your traders to discover which one(s) I want to follow. This has been a significant learning experience for me, but I am slowly getting on top of it, and it has been a valuable distraction from the work of managing our household and caring for my wife. I trust that you will find these responses to your enquiry useful. Al Summers

I have been very happy member of Options Room, John's Small account Mastery and Small Account Secrets. With futures I do have my own set ups and find futures a bit more boring, so maybe that's why I am not so fascinated about the Futures's room ( Self-learning and John's book provided me a needed foundation for futures trading). John's way to explain setups is fantastic and he is never boring! With help of him and other traders at Simpler, learning curve is much much steeper than alone. I have not found anything as helpful for learning than Simpler Trading, and, I can promise that I have done everything a trader can do to develop himself! Also other traders are cool and provide lot of knowledge. I like especially Chandler's and Taylor's way to do classes, they are always fun and helpful! I appreciate a lot all the support Simpler Team is providing to become a better trader! I would like to provide some negative feedback too for Simpler to improve as a company, but at this point I can't figure out anything that could be done better..!

What I Like: The objectivity and non emotional trading environment Open book trading,...the results are clear to see, good and bad Lots of learning material in easy to understand formats Trades are explained and John is sensitive to the varying levels of traders Really appreciate the discipline to limit size of trades based on percentage risk I found the saturday trading secrets class to be fantastic for my skill level (7 years on TOS), extending my knowledge on many fronts What I have mixed feelings about last 6 weeks have had some great trades and terrible trades, overall results are just so so There have been many days where it seems we are left on our own with Candy doing "cover" Annoyed with 7 days for $7 dollars pro trading room then immediately billed the next month ($250) and told I didnt cancel soon enough ...even though 7th day was Presidents day holiday (markets closed) I pushed back and got it resolved "as a one time courtesy" Overall I find great value following John's trades and the supporting documentation is super. Results so so but expect overall to do well with time.

More than I expected. Impressed by the professionalism, dedication and teamwork throughout the entire program. Customer support is super responsive.

I just love whole group and it is simply the perfect one for me.

The transparency and vulnerability of the lead traders is something I have not seen anywhere else. Watching them and observing them, helps so much in shaping one's own concepts and ideas and how to spot repeatable and reliable setups. And when it comes time to cut the losers, it's all called out and thoroughly explained. And there is extra consideration given to those with smaller accounts when trade setups are shared and explained. It may go something like: "Opening such and such position, alternatively for smaller acounts the accompanying play could look like this other position right here" I have only a few months observing Simpler Traders in the Gold Options room and already I have learned more about trading setups, executiins and psychology than I ever thought I could absorb in such a short amount of time. This is by no means easy and joining Simpler is not the key to success. It's the diligence in observing, learning, and accepting whole heartedly wherever and whenever you are wrong, that will make all the difference. If you are willing to do that and are patient with the learning and the application of ideas, the results will speak true to the process.
