In my case(marriage based green card application) the manager or managers assigned to my case didn't do anything and were not helpful at all. They kept messaging me about how the pictures were not clear and made me retake and upload them all over again. Wasted almost a month on that. Next they couldn't provide much help about me overstaying my visa for 8 months during covid. They wanted me to pay more for their attorney review. Wasted $400 on that. They sent me my package which was about 4 inches thick with documents copies repeating over and over. DO NOT SEND THAT! Make sure your copies are scanned and not photographs and forms should be separated they didn't tell me that. Very bad experience on my side and not worth the money. You can find that information free online or on USCIS website.

If you have any violations(like overstaying your visa) don't hire them. They're not well informed on those issues. Just wasted $400. The package they send you contains pictures of your supporting documents, you can't send pictures you need to send photocopies. They're responsive to your emails but besides that it's just a bunch of college kids not knowing much about what they're doing.

If you expect responsiveness from your legal aid in handling your green card application, look anywhere else but SimpleCitizen
My wife and I saw their service and signed up originally because of the attractive price points for green card applications. We signed up for the top 'professional' package for $849. What we received was anything BUT professional.
The initial application was delayed past their estimated window for the single page translation with no communication other than 'they've sent it in to get translated'. At this point we brought to attention again that we needed to go through this with little time to spare to avoid a lapse in my wife's employment eligibility. Once they finally got the application ready to send, the VP of customer service gave me his number and said to call/text if any questions come up through the rest of the process.
Shortly after we sent in the application, we received an RFE, which we were told isn't uncommon. So despite being unnerved, we started to wait for the SimpleCItizen team to prep our RFE response when they went radio silent for more than TWO WEEKS.
By radio silent, through every channel possible without a single response. I reached out to their customer service line as well as the VP's personal number I was told to call/text if we had any questions over a dozen times to not one single response. All we wanted was an update on the status of the response, we would have been fine if they told us to get 3rd party legal help, but nothing, no response.
We got so desperate to not have my wife's employment eligibility lapse and lose her job that I reached out to their entire management team through LinkedIn messaging, pleading for a response.
Not one response from anyone. In the 2+ weeks, I reached out to more than half of their startup of fewer than 20. Any one of them could have reached out to give me an update, but chose not to.
We finally heard back after reaching out to other options for legal help, "Sorry I was out sick for the last 10 days with COVID, thanks for understanding!" was all it said.
COVID is not in her control we understand, but a handoff process missing for account managers in case of emergencies is unacceptable for a business handling time-sensitive applications.
Again, any one of the dozen people I reached out to could have escalated this issue or have gotten back to us, but didn't, because not only is this company ill-equipped to handle the variations in customer volume, but they also don't care about their customers.
They offered a refund, we took it since we couldn't trust them with another step in the already nerve-wracking process.

Cut Off Communication and No Services Provided
Unfortunately, I just got off the phone with my credit card company, where I've had to dispute the charge from SimpleCitizen. Things seemed to go well with SimpleCitizen until it was time to translate my documents (that is, only 2 days after purchase). We were told that only a few documents qualified for their translation service, even though the SimpleCitizen website states that "translations are provided", without mentioning any restrictions on type of document. When I initially reached out to customer support about the issue, Matt from SimpleCitizen promised that all translations would be provided. After 4 months of receiving no follow up (and no translations, meaning my application could not move forward), I reached out again. For 3 weeks now, I have received no responses to my emails, chat messages, and contact form messages.
It is understandable that there can be a misunderstanding of what services are included in a business's package offering. You shouldn't expect, however, to be told something by customer support that is in direct contradiction to the company's own Terms & Conditions. What is even more worrying is that the representatives of SimpleCitizen stopped responding to emails and other communications. I regret that I was forced to dispute the charge with the credit card company rather than be able to resolve this with SimpleCitizen directly. When they refuse to communicate, there is unfortunately no other choice, and this refusal speaks volumes about their company, business ethic, and potential treatment of future customers.

Disappointed
Started off with fast replies, then no replies. Didn’t even check my emails until I called 3 weeks later.

I got a letter from USCIS requesting the proof of joint sponsor's US citizenship. When Simplecitizen review my package, they did not let us know the joint sponsor should submit citizenship proof. It's a silly mistake and cause delay of my application. When I email simplecitizen, they responded much slower than before.

It sucks
It sucks. If you have any other choice, never choose it.
1. Slow response, taking many days. Even no reply. Ridiculous.
2. The poor organization makes you panic especially when dealing with docs filed to the government. They can even lose your doc.
3. Never more disappointed before

Repeated delays then radio silence
Their website is simple to use, taking you through the process similar to turbotax.
However, things got very weird once we filled all the required forms and documents. On the website, SC said the application is being reviewed and it will take 3-5 business days. A week later nothing happened, so I contacted them for updates. They replied saying there will be an update the following Monday. A week goes by, and again nothing, so I contacted them again. They said again there would be an update soon. Another week goes by, and again, nothing... At this point, I wanted an actual update and reason for the delay. But sadly, no reasons were provided. After a 3rd week of no progress, I demanded the PDF with mistakes or a full refund. Then it was radio silence from then on.

Frank, thank you for the feedback and we’re so sorry that this was your experience. As is our policy, we immediately issued the 100% refund to your account when you requested it. The delays in the review happened because you filled out all of the information for the applicant as “ASDF ASDFGHJK” and the dates as “1/1/1900”. As a result, there were some miscommunications with our team as we tried to follow up with you to finalize your application.
After you left your review, we reached out several times via several different channels to try and honor our 100% satisfaction guarantee by paying for your USCIS government fees but all attempts to contact you didn’t work. The offer still stands if you would like redeem the voucher. We appreciate your feedback here and have used this as an opportunity to improve our processes for future customers.
