Every time I had an issue I called the 1-800 number and they treated me with genuine respect and care. They answered all my questions. This site is great for people who want to meet that special someone

It took me ages to answer all of the questions only to discover their expensive fees. I couldn't see an option to try before you buy so headed to Trust Pilot to check out what other people thought. So glad I did as I will not be completing my application. Looks like I have avoided a poor experience.

The app is easy to use but sometimes there are a few snags along the way. Otherwise, a good experience.

I have been a Premium member for a week. Silver Singles will offer a significantly higher price for a service which delivers little. The technique of continually expanding my preferences to encourage “visitors” to my profile has failed miserably and for a third successive day, not one visit from other singles has been witnessed. Another issue is, as opposed to swiping left without causing offence and running the risk of deeply emotionally scarring others, when you remove a woman from your page, the site automatically prohibits any further contact and blocks the said woman from your profile. A scenario may well occur where you exchange messages with a woman, decide that your not right for her and with an explanation, bid your farewell and remove the woman. If she attempts to reply, the message she’ll receive is that you’ve blocked her. Surely we should feel the need to block matches or not. Additionally, a normal exchange of messages to form an active conversation is difficult as each message takes several hours to reach the recipient. Would I recommend Silver Singles? Don’t do it! You may well suspect that once hooked on the online dating idea by joining another then another site, that all the sites are operated by the same firm! Edit: The email notification only works until you pay the subscription, when as a basic member you will be bombarded with people who have found your profile interesting or have left a message. Once the 6 month subscription of £167+ all emails immediately stop. I have deleted my account.

The website does not allow a good way of searching. When you get a message with matches you can't click on those matches and go directly to them, currently you have to have to search all of matches to locate them. It would also be nice to have a search option that you could sort matches by highest to lowest algorithms or by location

It is not SilverSingles fault. It is all the dishonest scammers online. I was on this site 2 months and found one man who seemed to be honest and he lived 3 hours away so the logistics were going to be tough. SilverSingles warned me about 3 men who had contacted me. Another man who called himself Kevin Moses was also a scammer. I scammer site showed up when I googled his work place and there were two emails posted from 5 years ago that were identical to his to me the week before.
