When my husband and I decided to move back to America, we were overcome with anxiety about health insurance. We were worried about not only being able to afford it, but also about what would happen to us in the event of an emergency. Luckily, however, we were able to find Sidecar. While Sidecar is certainly affordable for us, it comes with many other perks as well. The prices are transparent, the process is easy, and the customer service is top notch. I've always felt taken care of and valued as a member of the Sidecar community and don't believe I could get this level of service anywhere else!

What attracted me to Sidecar Health was that it is affordable and transparent. Their alternative approach to healthcare is exactly what I was looking for as a freelance worker who does not get insurance through an employer. I also like the concept of being able to easily find doctors in my area as well as pricing details. Because they are a new company, they are still building upon available data, so not all details are listed unfortunately, but I hope as the company grows, their data will become more robust. Overall, Sidecar Health makes navigating healthcare a lot simpler and I think they're onto something!

I'm so glad I found Sidecar. I missed open enrollment and thought I had no insurance options until later this year when open enrollment comes around again. Sidecar seems like everything the insurance process should be- it's super transparent and easy to understand. I can easily see what amount of a service is covered, which I love. No more complicated processes of finding a preferred provider that's in-network, waiting months for the one random preferred provider in your area, getting referrals, trying to get reimbursed, figuring out copay, etc etc, which was always my experience with Blue Cross. And it's so great that you get refunded if your appointment costs less than what they'll pay. The very first doctor appointment I used Sidecar on, I got $40 back. Also, the online portal is soo helpful, as is the fact that a human quickly answers your phone call or chat request to customer service. That alone makes a huge difference! I would absolutely recommend!

SideCar Health is an innovative way to have health coverage today. If you are willing to compare the out of pocket cost of an HMO plan from the ACA to a PPO indemnity policy you'll see the savings and value! Having SideCar brings flexibility and value. Today we must be more pro-active in our healthcare if we do not want to waste valuable dollars earned. The only time the ACA policies have any value (to say the least) is when you already have a chronic issue diagnosed.

We recently enrolled in Sidecar Health this year and have been thankful for the way they simplify the health insurance process. Their site is very user-friendly, and there is always a representative available to assist via chat. The employees from the company who we have interacted with have all been very professional and polite. We also received a hand-written card from them in the mail, which was so thoughtful and personable.

So far so good! I've been using Sidecar Health for a few months now and so far its done everything they said they would do except without the complexity and price inflation of "traditional insurance". It's so nice to have other options available that make sense. Plan to continue.

This is a different concept of healthcare insurance. Honestly, all insurance companies should work like Sidecar Health. My husband is retired and I don’t have health insurance and not eligible for Medicare yet, after looking long time for a health coverage (including Obama Care/marketplace) Sidecar Heath was the only affordable Health option that accommodates to my needs.

I am so happy I found Sidecar health. I can't believe that you get money back if the provider charges less than Sidecar covers. I have used this at my Dr. office, at my counselor's office, for and x-ray, and for prescriptions. It worked every time. So far, I have had a surplus on my side which then brings down my monthly payment (I could request a check but haven't done that yet). The service is awesome. Every time I get online I can chat with someone and they are extremely knowledgeable AND nice AND quick to solve any problems or questions. I am so surprised. This would really change the insurance industry and the medical/prescription to be so much more fair and honest. I couldn't believe it at first. I thought it must be a scam. I took a chance and it works great!
