Here is why I give them one star
Here is why I give them one star. I reached out to the company to ask why a company can have such great reviews on Shoppers Approved and poor reviews everywhere else? Needless to say they did not respond to my question which I did not feel was inappropriate. Sorry for being a little skeptical of a business that is paying another company to host their reviews.

Hi J2, Thanks for your comments. Your concern is completely valid. Why are Shopper Approved's verified reviews for a particular company so different than reviews from open review platforms like Trustpilot? The answer will probably make you angry... against Trustpilot that is. You see, there are two very types of review platforms online. Verified review platforms like Shopper Approved, who only collect reviews from actual paying customers after they buy, and then there are open review platforms like Trustpilot, who allow anyone to leave a review, without any proof of purchase or verification. This means that anyone with a chip on their shoulder, or an agenda can say whatever they want without any recourse. This type of unvetted power can irreparably damage a company's reputation, even if the person leaving the review has never even bought from that company! There are numerous examples of companies who have been literally flooded with bad or good reviews, depending on the agenda, by groups of people who are socially or politically driven to damage or promote a brand on Trustpilot or other open review platforms. The other huge problem with open review platforms is that customers with bad experiences are significantly more likely to go out of their way to leave a bad review, than customers who have had a good experience. This means that the reviews that you see on Trustpilot that you think are accurate, are completely off-base, and in many case THE EXACT OPPOSITE of what is actually true! Case in point, do a search on Trustpilot for any of these leading brands... LG Google Costco Home Depot Under Armour Fedex Microsoft Walmart You know as well as I do that there is no way on earth that all of these household brands have a 1 star rating, but yet there it is! How can you see that, and then beleive that anything else on Trustpilot could possibly be an accurate reflection of a company's true reputation? It's impossible. Bottom line, Trustpilot is actively and knowingly deceiving millions of people into thinking that their ratings are accurate, when in reality they're not accurate whatsoever. But because people tend to beleive what they see, millions of unaware consumers just beleive it and make their buying decisions based on a lie. And then when they see our ratings, which are actually verified AND actively solicited to every single customer that buys from that company - just like you did - they reject that company's actual real reputation, and unknowingly accept the lie. It's completely messed up and wrong, and yet open review platforms like Trustpilot get away with it every single day. As you can see, I'm pretty passionate about this topic, but I'm sick and tired of watching consumers being mislead, shunning good, honest businesses based on completely unverified, unsolicited, negatively skewed reviews from a very small handful of upset customers looking for a place to complain, when the vast majority of their customers are happy with their purchases. Trustpilot is a glorified complaints board - not a review company, and the sooner people realize it, the better off the world will be. Best Regards, Scott Brandley Co-founder Shopper Approved
