Creative Irish GiftsReviews of shopirish.com

Has to be the worst Company on the Planet. How can they survive when 94% of their reviews are 1*? Customer: "Shamrock Hanging Solar Lantern, OX336, $29.99 I am having a serious problem with my solar lantern. It has filled with rain water and the interior of the solar collection unit / battery compartment is filled with water and rust. The white light has gone from a white light to a rust colored orange tint. It is only a matter of time before the solar charging / light assembly quits permanently. I have opened it up to dry it out. What's the remedy for my problem? I have taken photos and will transmit if required. Ref: complaint of "Water" by Irish Moe on 6 June 2021. Same problem with rain water!! Creative Irish Gifts: "We're sorry to hear you're having problems with your solar lantern. Our company only allows returns for refund or replacement within 30 days of purchase." Thank you, Creative Irish Gifts Team 800-843-4538 Customer: That makes a lot of sense to me. I received the lantern as a Christmas Gift. There was five (5) feet of snow in Massachusetts from December though April. Hung the lantern outside for the first time at the beginning of June when it began to fill with rain water after each rainstorm. Great idea with the 30 day return policy. Have spent a ton of money at Creative Irish Gifts. That will never happen again. BYE.

My husband has bought numerous things from this catalog, jewelry and a few other things, but this jewelry piece is silver and rose gold Trinity necklace, very pretty, very small the rose gold washed off in no time, As you can see in the return items section you have 10 days to return an item, that amount of time would not have told me that this was true rose gold. trying to get the issue rectified. I don't know if I'm going to get anywhere, but it seems to be that the stuff is made in China, and is not even real, it's probably not even real Sterling. $80 for a necklace that the color washed off within a few months, it should have lasted forever if it was real. sad that they have to be this way they apparently do not care about the Integrity of their company and they probably won't even care or see these reviews. if they do they would do something about it. If I get my situation rectified I will change the review the customer service agent was very nice and sympathetic to the issue.

Is there a zero star rating? The customer service representatives are the rudest people and didn't help with our problem at all. My husband spoke to a couple of managers, who had no interest in helping to solve our delivery problem and our order was almost $1000. We will never shop with them again. Diane O'Connor, the President of this company better do some soul searching if she really wants to be in this business.

I had been a loyal customer for many years, but that was before I encountered an actual problem with an order. Prior to that, I wouldn't have hesitated to recommend this catalog. However, I can no longer think of them in a positive light or ever do business with them again after they showed their true colors on my last order. I had been emailed a percent-off discount, but the code wasn't working when I was placing the order. I contacted customer service prior to placing the order, and they told me that there was no way they could adjust it on their end, but to just place the order (it was a Sunday) and call the next morning to speak to actual customer service when they would adjust the order to reflect the discount. You see, the phone number you call is supposed to be for customer service, but I found out the real reality: they can only help you place orders and give you info on products and prior orders. They can't actually help you resolve issues. Apparently there's a second tier to handle that. Well, when I called the next morning to speak to that second tier, a very rude "customer service" agent told me that I'm not allowed to talk to them and she refused to transfer me. I was told that the only way I could speak with them was to leave my name and number, then wait for them to call me back. Spoiler alert: they NEVER DID. I even attempted to contact them through email. As you can imagine, no response. When I received the order shipment, I had to write "refused" on it, send it back, and contest the charge with my credit card company. Thankfully, I didn't end up with even a cent paid out-of-pocket, but I will never trust this company again. Both individuals that I spoke with outright lied to me. They obviously do not care about customers nor integrity. As a final slap in the face, they outright refuse to remove me from their mailing list. I have contacted them numerous times to remove me, and they always say they will, but then I continue to receive their mailings. It is downright infuriating and insulting.

I have purchased goods from you previously with satisfaction, and my overall experience has been quite positive. Part of this has been your free on-line mailing service. But now I am reaching out to you before my opinion of your business permanently sours. A coupon for "15% off" my next purchase was included in the box with the last item I received. The ONLY stipulation on the coupon was that it would be valid only for the next three months; there was absolutely no other printed caveat or exclusion. I used this coupon for a recent purchase but found that I had been charged postage on it. When I tried to obtain an explanation for this omission, all I was told was that "two offers cannot be used at the same time," But I was using only a single offer which I had thought had been gratuitously made (at the time). However, your representative insisted I had forfeited my usual free shipping by using the coupon which essentially negated the "15% discount" almost entirely. Why was I given the discount coupon at all? I looked to be essentially a marketing trick rather than a true expression of appreciation to reward a longtime customer! The catalogues I had been receiving all proudly declared in bold black print "Free Standard shipping on Any On-line Order," but I was directed to a statement 5 lines below in printed font below readability that my "standard" free shipping could not be combined with any other "offer." I have never seen free shipping as a special offer for any purchase but a standard part of any purchase. This devise I your part though perhaps "technically" covered by your "fine print," was NOT placed on the coupon and in fact is a subtle deception, giving me the impression that I was REALLY being given 15% off my next purchase but in reality no such thing! I had never considered deception to be part of your business ethic, therefore my confused upset with your evident practices. I have not written this extensive narrative with the expectation of any financial redress which would hardly be worth this much effort on my, or anyone's, part, but solely to express my perplexity and umbrage at what I consider to be an essentially unethical business practice, offering reward but taking it away by slight-of-hand, since at no time during the purchasing process had the "exclusion" been explained to me but only after I subsequently inquired as to why my billing price, for the first time, included postage. I also doubt I will receive anything more than a reiteration of your "policy" from your office, but will be satisfied if it has just been received and read as the complaint of a previously loyal and trusting longtime customer.

The item is made in China, from a Canadian company and shipped from Arkansas. Deceptive

Hard to contact about an $70 item that still has not arrived. No emial contact. I will contact PayPal and my bnak and report it as fraud and have them reverse payment. Buyer beware!
