This was my first experience using movers and it was amazing! The process leading up to the move was really easy and my relocation consultation Ishmael assisted me with providing a certificate of insurance to my new building and adjusting my order when I had additional items. The move itself was painless. The three movers Dequan, Arsenco, and Stephon were really nice and moved me out of my walk up and into my new building fairly quickly (about 4 hours total). The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is that I noticed some of my furniture was damaged as I was unpacking and putting things away, but this could have been due to my own bad packing. Overall, I would highly recommend Shleppers!

Very good and professional. Arrived 90 minutes late though given "traffic and rain". Absent of the tardiness, everything was smooth on site. Prior to the move though, I asked the rep to ensure they bring protection for the carpet. That info was not handed down to the guys on site. The guys on site, however, were able to modify a setup to account for the protection.

Thomas's moving crew is great to work with. They are courteous and go the extra mile to make the move as smooth and pleasant as possible. Hard working guys.

Let's face it -- moving is often a pretty miserable experience. I have used Shleppers several times (at least five), and from my experience, it has been a consistently solid experience. This is particularly true within NYC; I continued to use Shleppers for my last move between non-NYC cities (kept my stuff in storage with them for several months), and while it was generally positive, there were slight inconveniences (unannounced increase in storage prices; slightly late arrival and temporary difficulty contacting my move captain on the day of the move). Still and yet, through the years, Shleppers has been there for me and I am happy to recommend them.

Ben and his crew were great. they were here early, and move everything very fast. The were very cautious in my building (which my super loved).

It was Monday morning. I needed my move scheduled on Friday and Shleppers delivered! Fantastic customer service to confirm the details of my move. Even on a snowy day, the movers were able to handle all of my items with care in a timely fashion. The price was fair, especially considering the amount of things I had to move as well as the time constraints. No additional charges or other issues.
