What its like working with ShipHero. -> Imagine being stress out about shipping tons of orders everyday > hiring an employee for help -> their rates are low, onboarding is easy -> sales agent are somewhat nice -> you sign up. As soon as they start shipping orders -> everything changes -> now the only contact you have with someone at the company is via email and also they live in South America -> absolutely nothing ships out on time -> and they literally do the opposite of everything single thing you tell them to do -> your customers start to notice the drastic change -> your business is impacted in a negative way ->and you almost lose everything that you've worked so hard to build -> that's what it's like working with ShipHero. Reasons Why NOT to hire ShipHero: Reason #1 Black Friday orders shipped out 4 weeks after orders were placed. Basically, Black Friday orders didn't ship until the day before Christmas. Reason #2 You don't have a dedicated account rep if something goes wrong. There's no one you can directly speak with. Only customer service reps who are stationed in South America and don't have feet on the ground at the actual warehouse. Reason #3 You are solely responsible for lost items, items not delivered, items stolen, items that get lost in transit leaving SH, when SH makes errors in shipping, no scans ect. If your item ships - and it it not delivered to your customer - YOU have to pay this - there is no filling a claim or SH reimbursing you. Reason #5 SH makes it basically impossible to remove your inventory from their warehouses. Mostly due their policy of, "load balancing". Basically, SH forces your inventory to be shipped to several other warehouse. This could potential increase the chances for lost inventory and it can also cause delays in shipping. You have NO option to opt. out of this. Also, they don't mention this in the initial onboarding call. How Load balancing negatively effects your brand/ business: So, basically SH forces you to allocated your inventory to multiple warehouse all over the US which forces them to ship orders from different warehouses. Its all good until SH takes it upon themselves to, "SPLIT SHIP" your orders. Meaning customers will place 1 order, but receive 5 different shipments from the warehouse at different times through out the month - which leave a very confusing shopping experience for the customer. Some customers feel like they are being scammed, some feel like you forgot to ship the rest of their order. SH takes it upon themselves to make this decision for your brand - you don't realize that it's happening until tons of customers are emailing you their concerns. If you refuse to load balance and only keep your inventory at 1 warehouse location - they will up charge you 5% per order. Reason #7 It's impossible to remove inventory once they've shipped all your inventory all over the US. I've been trying to remove my inventory from SH for about 1 month now, and I'm constantly going back and forth with CS reps and getting no where. Today is March 1st, and SH has yet to release my inventory. Inventory Update: After 3 weeks of going back and forth with CS via email ( literally like 100 emails ) - SH has informed me the that have in fact mistakenly thrown part of my inventory in their dumpster, smh - I can't make this stuff up. So anyways, above is a small preview of what to expect when you hire ShipHero.

My business CROSSNET has struggled using ShipHero. They seem incapable of fulfilling B2B and FBA orders on time. We have been unable to process some FBA orders since December! Please do not work with ShipHero. I have never seen a logistics partner so incompetent. We work with ShipBob for another business and it's night and day the competency. I am so upset with the service, sense of urgency, and client relations at ShipHero. It has been an awful experience.

I totally agree with all the other frustrated business owners. One year ago this business was the one i would recommend without hesitation to all e-comm business owners, now it has fallen hard and they are way behind. They have likely expanded too quickly without proper infrastructure and their customers (us small biz owners) are suffering. Orders take more than 1-2 weeks to ship out and I have to manually fulfill all of them now and use my own stock. I'm just grateful i can do this because after emailing 3 times and getting the orders "marked priority" they still don't go out. Sad to see a once efficient business tumble and become extremely unreliable and disappointing to partner with. As soon as my inventory is sold off, I will close my account

Embarrassing company. They were doing ok until 15 months ago, then they completely fell apart. Orders are not shipping out for months, support team ignoring you, software bugs and the highest fees in the markets - on increasing prices they have actually been consistently quick and efficient! The management doesn't care, the CEO doesn't care, the employees don't care. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, unless you want to ruin your e-commerce business!

I would not recommend them to anyone. They've utterly fallen apart this Q4. Orders from 2 weeks ago still haven't shipped. Customers are very angry. Complete radio silence on Shiphero's side. They won't take responsibility for anything or offer any timelines, information, or anything helpful. They've offered to prioritize certain orders but even those ones haven't shipped out. We are forced to shut down our advertising because we don't know if any goods will actually ship. Massive costs to our business because of their mismanagement and nonexistent communication. Edit: "re-evaluate our client mix"? Kinda sounds like blaming your customers because you massively under-hired for Q4, and still aren't fulfilling orders fast enough to catch up.

We are still having issues from 3 months ago that have not been resolved. ShipHero used to be amazing), but this 3PL now has the potential to kill your business. Orders are being shipped past SLA deadlines. They have lost multiple boxes of inventory (100s of units in each). They never arranged pickups with their international partner (Passport), so hundreds of international packages went missing. I am still waiting for my promised refund to be processed which was supposed to arrive in 5-7 business days. It has been weeks. Support is lacking, as they say they are looking into it and then never follow up. Really sad as I used to love and recommend this company to everyone.

I have had a bad experience with them. First, I was getting significantly overcharged on shipping and storage fees due to very incorrect measurements. Luckily I caught this and was reimbursed. Second, they are very late on shipping orders (10+ days on some orders at the moment). They are going on I understand that it is "cyber week", but I think orders that are 8+ days late is overkill. We open tickets every single day for these unshipped orders and they still will not take care of it. They also lost some of my inventory, and they did reimburse me for which I am very thankful for. Other than that, the efficiency is good with shipping. The mistakes on the skus being shipped out incorrectly has been less than 1%.

As of yesterday, some orders were still not shipped out after A WEEK of being ready for shipment, and after trying for days to get them to ship them out. Upon putting pressure on support to get these out the door, this is the response I received. "I understand but your company is not our only customer. I am working with leadership on your case. I appreciate your patience. Get ready to be told things like this if you work with Shiphero. Imagine going to a restaurant and not being seen by a waiter for 45 mins and he finally says you're not our only customer. Imagine if I said this to my customers who asked why their order hasn't shipped for a week. Also, why do they even need to work with "leadership" to get a week old order out the door? Something is clearly very wrong over there. I'm upholding my end of the contract... I'm paying them for their failed services every day. THEY are the ones not honoring our agreement + contract. Do some digging and you will see this is the norm.
