Glad I switched
I’ve been using SE Ranking for a year now, after moving away from SEMrush, and I’m still really happy with the switch. As a freelancer running multiple SEO and digital projects, the balance of fair pricing and solid functionality fits exactly what I need. The rank tracking is excellent and reliable, and the platform in general feels practical rather than bloated. One thing I’ve really valued is how open the team is to feedback — they genuinely listen to product ideas and improvements. There are features I use more than others, but the platform keeps heading in the right direction. The new AI tracking area looks very promising. My ideal setup is not having to juggle loads of tools, and SE Ranking is getting closer to covering the majority of my day-to-day work in one place. Integration with Looker Studio is also a big plus. Several of my client dashboards pull directly from SE Ranking data and it works smoothly. Local tracking through Google Business Profile is another standout feature, giving a proper visual view of performance across a target area and showing which listings a business appears in. And the report builder deserves a mention too — lots of flexibility, no awkward upsells, and an easy way to bring multiple tools and datasets together in one place. After a year, I’d say the switch from SEMrush has definitely been worth it. SE Ranking has become a core part of my workflow and continues to improve.
