They explained things for the most part, and when I tested it the gentleman at the other end was courteous while verifying my information. No one explained about waterproofing nor how to change the battery in the watch.

Your cellular option still relies on a mic in the base unit and not on the pendant itself like other companies. Not a good design in the event of fall in a different room than where the base unit may be plugged in. You already know this.

Hi Laura, Sorry to hear the disappointment. The system you ordered online shows the two-way speaker and the help button that is worn. This is a common system and set up offered by other medical alert companies like us. In any event where we cannot communicate back and forth, we still send help. If it's pressed by accident, we would try calling you first if you do not respond on the speaker. Our Mobile Go option listed online works like other company devices as well, where it offers the two-way communication through the help button itself. I have only one complaint. Perhaps I just did not know how to find this information, but on the website I ordered from I did not see all the options they have available nor did I see the landline system did not work with Voip systems. I have a voip system. I was not able to use the one I ordered. When I contacted them about returning it I found out they have a wireless system also that worked for me. I am very happy with all the employees I worked with. I feel confident I am connected to a good provider with reliable equipment.

Person in the initial test was also helpful & made sure I understood how everything works. Just one slight negative - I was sent the wrong kind of necklace but that was quickly & efficiently remedied.
