I paid thousands of dollars to have them sell my penthouse timeshare. They suggested we price it around $35,000. There was no interest in it until I made it the lowest priced one available, less than $5000. Still, there were few inquiries that went nowhere and only one sincere offer over the span of 4 years. That offer would have yielded me a $100 profit. So I chose to just rent out my place every year, and then eventually walk away from it. I cancelled my SMTN account as it was a total waste of time and money. Their sales people are slick and will lead you to believe that you'll profit from selling with them. This business sells you HOPE, when all you will get is DISAPPOINTMENT.

I Would Not Recommend SMTN – Poor Transparency and Accountability SMTN was persistent in contacting us before payment, yet obtaining meaningful responses to serious concerns afterwards has been extremely difficult. I am representing my elderly, unwell parents regarding important conditions and limitations of their timeshare advertising and maintenance fee reimbursement services that were not adequately explained upfront. Despite months of emails, portal correspondence and formal complaints, our questions remain unanswered. Customer service simply referred us to the contract and suggested arranging a time to discuss the possibility of a courtesy credit, despite our correspondence clearly stating this was not what we wanted. Repeated requests for a response from senior management have also gone unanswered. The contrast between their sales approach and their handling of complaints raises serious concerns about transparency, management and accountability. Be very careful if dealing with this company!

I listed my Marriott trust points and Summit Watch and after 2 years I only had 1 “look” at my offerings. After getting the sale, I rarely heard from the salesperson! I paid my maintenance fee as agreed upon but it wasn’t reimbursed until I signed over more points. No one ever explained why I needed to do that but I needed the money. I’m a motivated seller because my husband passed and I don’t want to travel alone. But I don’t ever want to deal with this company again

i sent SellMyTimeshareNow $2500 to sell a Hilton Club New York two years ago and so far I have not heard anything. I believe this is a total Scam.

Upfront Fees with No Results after months of advertising. The company doesn’t really market your timeshare, you have to. If you want your ad to be at the top of the listings you have to keep emailing customer service to change the price. If someone is eyeing your timeshare and they keep see in the price change doesn’t say much for the integrity of the site. Over-promising Value: SMTN agents provide inflated estimates for the resale value of your timeshares to secure the listing, only to suggest lowering the price to near zero later. Poor Communication After Payment. Never heard from anyone for updates, but, what is there to update - nothing! Your ad gets posted on a webpage with hundreds of other listings, that’s it! I canceled my listing after almost a year on the site. I asked for a refund of some sort but was told I was after the 10 DAY period. Who sells a timeshare in 10 days? 1 do not recommend this company

They made big promises and told me that they will sell my timeshare. However, I have no confidence that that will happen. All they do is list your Timeshare and they already have your money so they’re not motivated to sell it. I have been this satisfied with their service. I would do not recommend anyone use this company to sell their timeshare. All they’re going to do is take your $3000 and put it in there pocket. they are very friendly and answered the phone when you call but just hear the same response every time as your price of your timeshare goes down. I should’ve listened to other people and just use my Timeshare rather than give it away.

Contracted with SMTN Loyalty for 6years in 2024 for maintenance fee refunds. They refuse the annual renewal in 2026. Over 2 years their communication is appalling. The don't respond or don't answer the question.I Formally Complained asking for a specific reason for early termination. No reason given.

This is a scam in its purest form. They are EXTREMELY skilled at marketing their services. When, after a while, they receive criticism for failing to deliver on their promises, they send a boilerplate response. It’s impossible to take legal action against them—they simply have too much legal muscle behind them, which an individual doesn’t have. They exaggerate their offers, promise too much, and deliver too little. I expect to receive a standard response to this, just as so many others have, but that doesn’t change the fact that everyone should stay as far away from this company as possible.
