Their grading is harsh. The final offer on one of my tablets was less than half what I thought I would get. They cited small scratches on the back.

Horrible
Horrible. Quoted me $77 then sent me a check for $7 due to some smudges and the touchpad being slightly worn. Trust me take your valuables somewhere else sell it on offer up. I would have rather donated to a friend or college student in need than to get a $7 check in the mail. Total slap in the face.
Update to reply:
Maybe If you had more than 4 or 5 basic questions on the condition of the device, I could have gotten a more accurate quote. In my opinion it was good condition. I do not recall there being a crack on it anywhere.
The questions asks “does it work properly and fully turn on” I said yes. You claim it was password protected, but you did not ask for it to not be password protected, perhaps clarify for customers what your question fully means then.
I never had any issues with the batter, always charged to 100% for me so again perhaps you are very vague in your questions. Regardless, i stand by my review. I understand I agreed to accept any offer but going from 73 to 7 is harsh for a working laptop with no major issues in my opinion.
Also, rude customer service.

You selected "Accept The Price" before check out. This selection means you have seen and accept the LOW to HIGH range quote for your item, and once the inspection is complete, your payout is sent immediately.
It's interesting you would claim the only reason your quote was adjusted was due to "smudges" on the touchpad, when the reasons were the item being Password Locked, the item was in Fair Condition (including a crack in the bottom case), and the Battery Failed to hold 80% capacity. The original highest quote value was also not $77, it was $73. All our supporting info, including screenshots and pictures, will be in the link to follow.

Reply to Update:
Thank you for your reply. Our questions are meant to be easy and streamlined, we also include hover-over text on each of the answers for additional clarification. For instance, the question “Do all functions work properly and device powers on?”. If you hover over the answer “YES” our hover overs text reads, “All functions work properly; no password locks or overheating, OS is installed.” For the answer of “NO”, our hover over text reads, “Device doesn’t power on, has a password lock, overheats, or OS is missing”. We show this in the imgur link in our previous reply as well.
Regarding the password lock, we mention multiple times that all passwords should be removed. As stated above, our hover-over text includes this in the first question of our questionnaire. 2.E of our Terms and Conditions also explicitly states, “To receive full Trade in Value Seller must accurately state the condition of the device. Any damages will affect the trade in value of the device; including but not limited to scratches, dents, scuffs, display malfunctions, cracks, power issues, temperatures in excess of 90C, bios or password locks, missing or corrupted Operating System, or any type of malfunction or excessive wear will significantly impact the trade in value of the device. “
In addition to both of those areas clarifying that all passwords should be removed, we also are sure to mention this in the “Order Details and Shipping Label for SAG00006183” email that we sent to you. In this email, we reminded you twice (in two different areas of the email) to remove the passwords. Here is a picture of the email, and the two sections highlighted that state this: https://imgur.com/a/dSsRy2U
Again, we're sorry to hear you were dissatisfied. However it is the customers responsibility to accurately describe the device in order to get the most accurate initial quote. As the device we received was not as you described, deductions had to be made. Unfortunately, based on the inspection of this device, the payout was appropriate.

Honest Assesment
I thank the company for their honest assessment of my computer.
I learned things I didn't know. I liked that they gave me the option of reviewing any counter offer and notifying me before moving ahead.
Overall it was an enlightening experience. I would sell through them again. This was my first experience in on-line selling.

They claim the LCD screen of the computer I sent was cracked. This is impossible because I packed it with two layers of large bubble wrap and filled the box with packing Styrofoam.

Not only do these photos show the box in which the item was sent is completely damaged, it shows the numerous points of damage on the item, the fact there was no OS installed, and screenshots of our websites hover over text explaining why your quote was adjusted the way it was.

Not pleased with how much they low-balled my laptop. Screen was not scratched or damaged, but they said it was by their standards so dropped my quote $40. Not very cool and definitely do not recommend choosing option to accept quote when they receive it. Only good thing was how fast they paid.

Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful. They quoted me 338 dollars for my computer and in transit it changed to 278. The power adapter was temperamental so they said it was broken but in addition because they didn't bother to find a way with their million cables there they also said they couldn't test the screen so it must be broken and couldn't test the battery!! So they gave me 17 dollars for a perfectly fine working gaming computer! When I asked for it back they ignored me because I selected the option I would accept their value. I just didn't expect them to not even try to turn it on!!!

In regards to your comment about the charger, we kindly included pictures in the link showing the conversation you had with our Inspections Department. That conversation includes photos and explanations that the DC-IN Jack itself was an issue, keeping us from plugging the item in at all, regardless of the adapter you sent in or not. The inspection report also details other issues with the laptop itself cosmetically and performance wise, as well as the update of your payout to $20.
The link also shows a portion of the 'Terms And Conditions' you agreed to before the order was complete, which reads "To receive full Trade in Value Seller must accurately state the condition of the device. Any damages will affect the trade in value of the device; including but not limited to scratches, dents, scuffs, display malfunctions, cracks, power issues..." as well as "If something cannot be tested, it will be deemed as bad and deductions will be made. This includes, but is not limited to, Motherboards, LCD Screens, Batteries, AC Adapters, RAM, Hard Drives, etc."
It is very clear based on what we have shown and explained here that the payout was appropriate. We're sorry to hear you were dissatisfied.
