Website has shut down and disappeared after I sent in an older laptop. What a scam.

Horrible company. I had a brand new laptop given to me from my work I used it for a couple of months rarely. Then I decided to sell it went to a computer store and they offered me 90 for it. The sella gadget website said they would give me 130 so I sent it to them. Then they tell me the screen is falling off which is completely false and if anything is wrong with it then they did it. Now there site doesn’t work and no one responded to my response for there bull sh$& offer of 60 trying to get ahold of them to get my laptop back and no luck so I guess I just got scammed. Don’t trust this place they will screw you over if they can and they will

I was quoted $500 for my Macbook pro and I received $7. I emailed the company twice and did not get a reply. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

So far, it has been a great experience with SellaGadget. It was very simple to get a quote for my laptop and they provided a shipping label for me to send it to them. I will update this as I get my payment for the laptop. Edit: I never got paid and the website shut down. Laptop and money completely lost.

Thank you, we greatly appreciate your feedback! It was our pleasure to help you get paid to recycle your Toshiba device. We hope you will consider us again in the future for your resale and device recycling needs.

They downgraded my item so they would not have to pay for it

Hello Paul, The only reason your quote was lowered, was because you falsely claimed your device was in 'Good' condition to inflate your initial quote range, when in fact upon inspection the device was clearly in 'Fair' condition. To be frank, if you were honest about the device condition, Sellagadget.com would not have paid for the shipping to obtain the device as the value is $0. You also chose the payment condition 'Contact Me' which as you know, having read and agreed to our 'Terms and Conditions', means you the Seller, have 14 days to approve or deny the offer from the day of the inspection (January 28th, 2020). You have not as of yet contacted us via the appropriate channel about your order at all. We suggest you use the 'Member's Area' to chat with the Inspections Department directly if you wish to have your item returned or accept the offer. Our Inspections Department found and pictured: https://imgur.com/a/J3LgXNa - No Operating System - Scratches/Scuffs on the LCD Screen - Screws missing - LCD Back Cover has scratches - Bottom Case has scratches - Palmrest is worn - Keyboard is worn - A/C Adapter was not included Thus, the recalculated offer of $0 from $5 was quite accurate based on the very poor condition and missing components discovered by the company in this order. We highly suggest next time you accurately report the condition of your device before check out, and perhaps take time to read the 'Terms and Conditions'.

This is a dishonest company. The option to "automatically accept the price" that they set is deceptive. DO NOT select this option, as this gives them freedom to set the lowest possible price and basically steal your device. The price range for a laptop ranges from $36-$700, so even though my device was practically new and I should have received $600-$700, they only gave me $175. I do not recommend anyone use this website. They also have no phone number to contact them, which is telling to their low value on customer service.

As has been already explain to this customer numerous times, just because they didn't take the time to read the 'Terms and Conditions' that clearly state what their selection of 'Accept The Price' means, does not mean our company enforcing our procedures is somehow negative. Not only did you not read the Terms, or think you are above them, you misrepresented your device to receive an inflated quote range. It is the Seller who creates the initial quote, not Sellagadget. For example, the Seller can claim they are sending a brand new iPhone, but send us a Nokia. It would be unreasonable, and against our Terms and Conditions, to assume we would pay them the maximum amount for the item which doesn't match the condition or type as the initial quote indicated. This Seller: - Didn't read the 'Terms and Conditions' or wants to disregard them - Misrepresented the item they were trying to sell to Sellagadget - Was paid within the range given by the website and is still unsatisfied - Threatened us with legal action for following the terms he agreed to Here is a link with screenshots of all relevant info including all communication via our 'Member's Area', where we communicated in a very timely manner with him, pictures of his device, and our internal systems showing his 'Accept the Price' selection: https://imgur.com/a/SkzHBt5

I called the company to obtain a lithium battery label needed in order to ship my lap top to them. They never responded! Great customer service!

Thank you for the compliment on our great customer service. It's true, we do our best every day to satisfy each of the Seller's we work with. In this case, however, it seems strange you would choose to lie about something so easily proved false. Here is a link with all the relevant photos and screenshots to go along with our explanation, which is hopefully easy to follow for anyone who is curious: https://imgur.com/a/ir8TSmX As you can see, our company has no phone number. You did not email us. You did not message us in our "Member's Area". Why have you decided to lie, Laura? In any case, you not only used the pre-paid label we provided and successfully sent us your device, but it was not in the condition you promised it would be, hence your order was reduced to a $0 pay out from your initial quote of $4. As you selected "Accept the Price" the order was completed. If you are still confused in some way, please check the "Terms and Conditions" you had to read and agree to before completing your order, but we'll link it here just in case: https://sellagadget.com/terms-and-conditions

I sent my pc in over a week ago since it’s been received (per UPS tracking) and I have yet to get any response from them.
Response from SellaGadgetJan 21, 2020
Unfortunately, your statement is verifiably false, and we've taken the time to screenshot multiple area's of interest to prove so to fellow reviewers. Please see the link below: imgur.com/a/ZnTqaKA As can be easily seen, the item arrived Friday January 17th at 11:30 AM. We messaged you about the device Friday January 17th at 11:49 am, a mere 19 minutes later on your member's account on our website and an email was also sent to you at the very same time as per our automated system. You selected "Accept The Price" before check out, and as such agreed to our 'Terms and Conditions', specifically our portion about "Devices Entered Incorrectly" which is screenshot in the link above. You entered the item incorrectly, and it was in actuality a model we do not purchase, and as such it was recycled. We included photos of the item on your account as well, but included some in the link to also show it was sent password locked and in poor condition. Based on all the correct information, the appropriate procedure was followed. We're sorry to hear you were dissatisfied. If you need any clarification, please refer to the 'Terms And Conditions' you agreed to before the order was complete: sellagadget.com/terms-and-conditions
