Self Storage 1Reviews of selfstorage1.com

Always helpful. Safe. Clean. Good location!

Way too many attempts to automate the process which creates the inability to get anything done. E.g Should be able to call the office to change a credit card - but you talk to an outsourced person who has no accountability takes no action to help solve the problem and the entire system is broken as a result.

Excellent service at a very good price, provided by a courteous and friendly staff.

The staff is courteous but $50/mo. increase after just 6 months is unacceptable. And the letter doesn't even specify why so it sounds arbitrary! I don't appreciate the bait and switch...

The facility is great except for the fact that they are continually raising our rent on the unit. We were sold a unit for $379/mo and it is now almost $500/mo less than a year later.

Overall I’ve had a minimally acceptable experience at self one. The price is low and I keep my expectations there too. It’s been around two years at the Lincoln Park location and the elevator has been broken twice (one time was a week plus at least) and being on the second floor makes things hard. One of the garage doors was broken for a very long time as well. I’ve tried to use the free truck 3 times in two years and twice it was broken down, and the other I couldn’t reach the office to try to make arrangements. The garage is generally a mess with people not knowing how to park(taking up two spots) and others taking up too much space and even blocking the elevator at times. One time I had to take the elevator back up to the second floor and call the elevator 4 time to get the alternate elevator that wasn’t blocked. When I went to get some assistance from the office it was locked. I called but got the main not local office and didn’t get a return call till much later in the day. I would say overall it’s ok but wouldn’t recommend it to a friend without major qualifications.

THE FOLKS AT SELF STORAGE SAN FRANCICO ARE PROFESSIONAL , KIND ,UNDERSTANDING AND PATIENT. I'M VERY THANKFUL FOR THERE COURTESY. THANK YOU SELF STORAGE AD. CORNELIUS GRAHAM.

I have been a customer of Self Storage 1 located on Egbert Street in San Francisco for quite a few years now. Whenever I need storage space, the team at this office is always there to help me get settled with the correct sized unit. The building is spotlessly clean and very secure. I love that I walk in and see familiar faces every time. Paul, Carmen and Jacqueline care about their customers and it shows.
