Hi there, We are aware of ongoing delays with replacement parts from this manufacturer, and while I won’t flood you with the back-and-forth, please know this has involved repeated escalation on our end. At this point, I have likely sent hundreds of emails over the past few months, trying to get this addressed. Unfortunately, we don’t physically stock or ship these parts ourselves, so we’re dependent on their timelines, which definitely leads to disappointment at times. We are doing everything we can to ensure this is improved in future. Alex

While we don’t handle the shipping directly ourselves, we still take responsibility for making sure you’re looked after when things go wrong. Hi Chris, We’re genuinely sorry you feel this way, but we do feel that we've taken very good care of you. From day one, we went well beyond what was required of us. When your delivery had issues, we personally covered $250 in complimentary accessories out of our own pocket , not the shipping company and not the manufacturer. When your bench later broke, SaunaLife determined it was not a warranty issue due to the way that it was installed. Despite that, we still placed the replacement order at our own expense because we felt it was the right thing to do. On top of that, when you had an issue with a hygrometer and demanded a full refund instead of going through the warranty process, we still approved it, even though this goes outside of our stated policies, and we were not reimbursed. Many customers choose to purchase through Select Saunas specifically because we step in like this and handle issues even when the manufacturer won’t. We understand delays are frustrating, but replacement parts for these saunas ship internationally and lead times are ultimately dependent on both the manufacturer and freight carriers. We’ve continued to push for updates and advocate on your behalf the entire time. We stand by the fact that we did care, particularly behind the scenes. Once an order is booked for shipping, transit times are handled entirely by the carrier, which, unfortunately, can be unpredictable at times. We are glad the shipment ultimately reached you. Regarding the lead time, there was a production backlog from Almost Heaven at the time of your order, as well as some severe weather, which caused a longer wait than expected. It looks like we did have a conversation regarding this, and we appreciate your patience in choosing to wait for your sauna to be delivered. As for the damage during delivery, we completely understand how frustrating that can be. While the carrier is responsible for the safe delivery of your sauna, we are always here to assist with replacements when necessary. Hi Chris, Thank you for your feedback. We want to clarify that our order confirmation email clearly stated an up to 8-week wait time, as your sauna was made to order. We understand that purchasing a large item can cause some anxiety, and we’re always happy to help if a customer reaches out for an update - that’s completely understandable. However, at that point, there was no need for additional communication, as your order was progressing as expected and in line with the timeline provided. We do our best to keep customers informed while ensuring timely order fulfillment, especially during busy seasons. Hi Sam, Thank you for sharing your experience! We sincerely apologize for the delays and any frustration they caused. The lead time was based on the estimate provided by the manufacturer, but due to an exceptionally high demand during the Holiday Season, production times extended beyond what we were initially told. Additionally, the rescheduled delivery dates were unfortunately impacted by severe weather conditions, which made it unsafe for the carrier to proceed as planned. Regarding the heater issue, we’re very sorry for the inconvenience. It looks like there was an error in packing, and while we’re glad to hear it's been resolved, we know this isn’t the experience you expected. We also appreciate your feedback on the Almost Heaven Spectacle base as well - we typically receive very positive reviews on their craftsmanship, but we’ll certainly pass along your input to the manufacturer. Hi Nick, We take customer feedback seriously, but we also feel that your review leaves out key facts that are important for a fair understanding of the situation. When your order was placed, the sauna was listed as in stock based on the manufacturer’s inventory. We were not immediately informed of a backorder. Once we became aware of the delay, we notified you immediately, which was a few days after your order. From that point on, we communicated as best as we could and ensured the sauna shipped within the timeframe we communicated. As a small business, we do not manage stock or shipping directly. We rely on our supplier’s information and timelines. While this occasionally results in unforeseen delays, we addressed your concerns as quickly as possible. Regarding your request to hold the shipment, it’s important to clarify that we were only informed of your travel plans after the sauna was already en route. At that stage, coordinating storage required additional fees, as outlined in our policies. While we understand this was inconvenient, managing storage or rerouting shipments incurs costs that we cannot cover without prior arrangements. Had we been informed of your travel plans earlier, we could have worked with you to prevent this situation. While we regret the inconvenience you experienced, I do believe we handled this as best as we could. Alex
