I purchased a chair from this website 4 months ago. It was estimated that it would take three weeks due to the coronavirus backing up their supply line. Fine, I understand. After 3 months, I finally received an update from their horrible support network that took 3-4 days to answer each email that I would be receiving my chair within the next week. After getting an update that said my chair was delivered, it was never actually delivered. Fedex and Seatingmind kept sending me to each other to fix the issue. Neither provided a solution to my missing chair and now I can't get a response from their support network as I guess I have already been scammed out of hundreds of dollars. Do NOT use this service.

Another update: This company says they have refunded my money on July 14th WHICH THEY HAVE NOT. An update on my previous post "IF I COULD GIVE THIS COMPANY 0 STARS".... The company had a customer service consultant call me to get a better understanding of the situation. Despite explaining the situation clearly, there are still issues on their side sorting this out. Their response on my initial post (on this website) made it seem like there was a credit card or banking issue on my side which is NOT the case. After multiple emails back and forth, I have lost all faith in Seating Mind to handle this professionally. My banking institution has filed a claim against Seating Mind and will be acting on my behalf to claim the refund. I IMPLORE anyone seeing this to take my advice and steer clear from this company. They falsely claim that items are in stock, do not deliver products in their communicated window, and are a complete nightmare regarding refunds and customer service.

It was easy to find exactly the chair I wanted, and because it was a refurb it was less than half the price of a non-refurb. Only problem is I have not received an ETA. I know it will take longer than normal due to the pandemic, but at least some word on when I might expect to receive it would be great.

Chair arrived without instructions and (it looks like) insufficient hardware. I guess we’re supposed to intuitively know how to build this thing. Terrible experience.

Here's a bit of an update. So I canceled a chair that didn't ship for over a month and they charged me a fee of 10%!!! Yes, that's right they couldn't ship me a chair and they charged me a fee. So not only did they pay nothing to ship it they kept my money. Here's a quote from their e-mail back to me: ..."to our terms of service, we assess a 10% service fee on canceled orders that have yet to be shipped." I canceled the order not because I changed my mind -- but because they're an incompetent group that couldn't ship something. They basically stole money from me. This company is a joke. To keep any of my money is a crime.

The web site easy to navigate. Trying to figure out where to find the product specfications (diamensions), and size selection was limited. Would be good to have tabs that walk you through the product summary. technical spec/sizes, customer reviews and related products.

WARNING AVOID!!!! I eventually received my chair it was fine. I recommended Seating Mind to my daughter who was looking for an affordable quality desk chair. She ordered a chair. She waited, after over a month they admitted they no longer had the chair and offered some options. Begrudgingly she picked another chair that was $200 less. The refused to acknowledge the need to instantly refund the $200. They eventually sent some very poorly recovered chair parts that can’t even be assembled!! They are hiding behind COVID as an excuse to not offer live customer support & some totally nonlegally binding disclaimers to try to get out of refunding for this junk. Today they finally said they would refund the original difference in price via an email that sounds like they are doing her a favor. I am sorry I recommended this shady company to anyone let alone my child!! I guess they like chargeback fees, weak unenforceable disclaimers aside, how they think they can deliver a chair that has such stripped bushings that it can be assemble that looks like my cat recovered it without any recourse is truly baffling. Guess what Seating Mind?? That isn’t how any of this works. **if they opt to add the stock response I didn’t respond to their assistance through the review site that is 100% a lie I will be taking this atrocity to the ends of the earth until they pick up this garbage and issue a full refund. AVOID!!! Update:I have not received an email asking for the order number which I have right here. Update #2 Opened a case with PayPal THEN customer service department reaches out and says “close PayPal case and then contact us”. Once again Seating Mind that isn’t how any of this works. You can resolve this through PayPal. Next move Escalate with PayPal.

I ordered a Herman Miller chair in May 2019 and it came pretty quick and as ordered. I noticed a few issues like the left arm doesn't stay up after locking into place and the back leaning ability seems 'off'. The chair also does not have any serial tag or Identification that it is a Herman Miller chair. I have reached out to Seating Mind for warranty information only to be asked over and over for a video of the broken chair. The shortest I can make the video to show the broken components is 55MB which I cannot send via email. Needless to say I am stuck with a 'so called Herman Miller' chair that is supposed to have a 12 year warranty and I cannot get any information or serial number for the chair to contact Herman Miller. My advice is avoid purchasing from Seating Mind if you are looking for a high end chair like Herman Miller. 7/28: I have sent photos as an alternative, the issue is the chair is broken and there should some way to access the warranty. 7/30: pictures helped get a response but I still have no warranty information and one of the mechanical levers still does not work. I raised my review up but I would not order another Herman Miller outside an authorized dealer in the future.
