Don't believe the delivery date
The parts were to replace the inline filters where water enters my washing machine. They fit perfectly. I chose this supplier over others that were less expensive because they offered the best delivery time. I destroyed one of my filters trying to remove it so I could clean it. (I wash with well water, and had experienced a mud problem.) It was Thursday, December 21, and I knew holiday schedules would play havoc with how quickly I could receive the filters. Most suppliers were offering delivery in early January. One or 2 offered December 28 or 29. But Sears said the parts would be delivered on December 26. That speed was was the reason I was willing to pay their higher price. Delivery was $8.99 of my total bill of $16.62--worth it to get the parts days sooner--if only. The December 26 estimated delivery date was a LIE! I received notice on December 28 that my parts had shipped. They arrived in my mailbox on December 30. If Sears had put the parts into the carrier's hands on December 22 or 23 and they didn't arrive until the 30th, I'd blame the carrier, but the real culprit was Sears Parts Direct didn't bother to ship until 2 days after the day they had told me to expect the parts! LIARS!
