I’ve had a really great experience with SciSpace. It’s incredibly useful for students, research, and academic work, and it saves so much time while still giving high quality support. The customer service team is also very kind, professional, and helpful with any issue or question. You can truly feel that they care about their users and always try their best to help. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a smart and reliable AI tool!

Once you get familiar with the platform, it is easy to get the information you need for your investigation. It saved a lot of my time when working with my post-graduate investigation.

I have bern mailing them for a week now about how I want my account to be deleted permanently and my subscription to be canceled on their end because I already canceled the subscription and the subscription was suspended as I can see in the website, however they are still trying to charge me for the subscription and they are not answering me back even though I sent more than one mail to their customer support mail.

Thank you for flagging this, and we’re sorry you’ve spent a week without an answer. Waiting for a reply while a charge may still be pending is a worrying place to be, and your request to cancel and delete your account deserves a prompt response. It’s possible that your emails didn’t reach the right inbox on our side, so we’d like to start fresh. Please write to us at [email protected] with the email address on your account and the link to this review, and we’ll make sure the right person picks it up and checks your subscription status and deletion request. Thank you for your patience, and for letting us know.

The free trials went very well, 20 pages review for tens of credits and pretty accurate references. After subscription, the same review cost me hundreds of credits with less accurate references. Today, I never know how much I'll be charged for any request, and a 1200 credits only allow me 4 or 5 requests, with reviews consisting in less than 10 pages, with references which don't exist. Honestly I don't recommand it at all. It is not transparent nor consistent / reliable. Despite my ongoing subscription, I now prefer to use ChatGPT (also subscribed) and Claude (free) with better results and much less limitations.

Thanks for the detailed feedback, and we’re sorry about the experience. Credit usage depends on the task: the number of papers, the year range, the report type, and the approach the agent takes, so the same type of review can use different amounts of credits. This guide breaks down how usage works: scispace.com/guides/credits-pricing-guide We’ve also made changes since then to bring more value to researchers like you. Our Advanced and Max plans now include unlimited agent usage, so you no longer have to guess what a request will cost. And on references, the SciSpace agent now has a Citation Verification skill that checks every cited source is real and confirms it supports the claim it’s attached to. You can see the plan details at scispace.com/pricing.

Overall, the service is good. Just too expensive for me, and somehow, even though I pay every month, I rarely use this. I hope the refund process runs smoothly, because I need that money.
