Kaplan SchweserReviews of schweser.com

I've been studying for CFA Level II exam using Kaplan Schweser since January 2020. They have been very accommodating since the first test was cancelled due to Covid-19 and the second test I was scheduled for was also postponed. I'm now taking the test in May 2021. The study materials are easy to use and having the ability to use an app on my iPhone has made it easy to continue my studies during short breaks throughout the workday. I used their products for CFA Level I exam and found the same to be true. I highly recommend Kaplan Schweser's CFA study materials and I will definitely be using them for CFA Level III.

I confirm the information below that the Kaplan simply disappeared after paying for the course. My order ID is 23626678 I paid for the CFA Level II premium package on January 21st, today is February 2nd - I still don't have access to the materials - it's simply impossible to contact the support service - two messages in the feedback form on the site and four emails to "staff..." but they just don't answer. As a result, I am in a stalemate - I cannot start studying due to the lack of materials and I cannot purchase them from another provider, because I don’t understand whether Kaplan will return the money to me or they will think of giving me access in a few more weeks :) seeing the large number of positive reviews here, I assume that they promptly process only applications from the United States, since there is the largest number of students and among them it is important to maintain a reputation to the detriment of other countries. it's just flawed. Kaplan positioned themselves as the best CFA materials provider but ultimately not be able to discipline their own support and accounting departments.

Extraordinary bad Main topics in Quantitative Methods section not included, but simplest Time Value of Money topic included twice....

Learning platform is very unstable and technical supports are not often available. Platform is often shut down with no warning and especially during holidays and weekends when students need to study. It is very unfortunate IT service is very poor overall. Even you got connected with IT, they often could not provide much supports.

I've bought a package for CFA preparation on 1st of November. Since then they didn't provide me electronic access to the materials nor printed copies (given 180 usd delivery cost!). Online support don't respond on emails. Summing up I guess that the quality of product is highly overrated.

I have a PhD in mathematics and have been lecturing at Ivy League colleges. I really feel sorry for all people reading the quantitative part of the Kaplan Schweser notes. It’s only Highschool probability and statistics but it is written in such a way that only from these notes it is completely incomprehensible. The number of typos in the mathematical formula is high, that I begin to doubt the author understands the topics. You cannot miss so many mistakes and inconsistencies. Looks like a lot of the mathematical concepts were copy and paste together. Sometimes concepts are used but only pages later introduced. Will reader cost a lot of time to figure out that they actually did understand the concepts but it all does not make sense because of the typos. Hope the other parts of the notes that I am not familiar with are better.

The four different packages allow for customised offering and service, depending on the student's need and preference. The material is comprehensive and supports constructive learning. Kaplan Schweser's weekly review classes help to easier and faster understand and absorb more complex subject by well knowledgeable professionals. Kaplan Schweser's response to individual questions most of the time is prompt and offers a solution.

It would've been good to receive the materials earlier on. But they are great.
