Essential package was great for me.
I got the essential package and it was enough for me to do well in all 3 levels of the CFA exam. I have some minor complaints about technical details, like the text box to write answers for level 3 practice is really bad, you can´t go back to words using arrows, just clicking with the mouse. Some other minor issues. But the content, the Notes, questions, study plan and calendar, and practice exams are great and prepare you well, and that is what really counts on exam day. If you can afford it, go for it. Ps: I didn't pass level 3, results will be available in Feb probably. But I think I did ok on the exam, just to make clear.

I think that not all question covered…
I think that not all question covered by Kaplan Schweser(or covered not deep enaph), because at two past exam i have trouble with questions(tested, not constructed response) at exam. Some question(themas) I don’t see before, despite fact that i cover all material given by Kaplan and have high % in each themas and (overall high % in average) in tested question. I really disappointed with this fact.

Like the previous two levels
Like the previous two levels, kaplan schweser level 3 was a great help to study CFA. Also liked the videos as supporting material. Two issues for improvement: - I sometimes got the impression that the database questions were not always very clear and sometimes I just disagreed with the answers after checking the material. I also communicated with Kaplan staff on this. - The videos were a great help, used these for the first time. It was striking, though, that some areas (especially derivatives) were covered in much more detail than others, which does not always seem to be justified by the exam weights. Best lecturers were Stuart Jackaman and the guy doing most of the fixed income and GIPS (don't remember his name).

I don’t think I did well
I thought I did really well understanding the kaplan material. I did well in most end of chapter tests but when it got to the mocks my grades dropped a lot. Then I’m the actual exam I thought it was very different from kaplan.

Great experience with Kaplan Schweser!
Great experience!. Considering the obscurity of the level 3 material, Scheweser does a great job by putting together a straightforward and easier-to-digest set of materials. The videos and weekly classes are a fantastic complement to summarize and highlight the main topics. The practice tests and mock exams are an excellent way to get up to speed and practice under real-world conditions. I would definitely recommend Schweser for Level 3!

Used Kaplan for CFA Level 3 Exam
Used Kaplan for CFA Level 3 Exam. I used the basic package but also purchased and online writing workshop. I have used Kaplan for the previous exams and was equally satisfied with the materials. Felt that the online workshop and practice exams were most useful. Some of the notes that summarize the curriculum lacked enough detail when it comes to answering exam questions. Overall, i felt prepared for the exam, but would advise reading the curriculum directly from the CFA for questions a person is not fully confident in

Kaplan level 3 CFA materials are no…
Kaplan level 3 CFA materials are no long applicable for post-COVID CFA exams. Many areas Kaplan did not cover or lightly touched on. Only study for most likely texted questions is no longer effective (Kaplan). I have used Kaplan for pre-COVID exams which I find very effective. I believe Kaplan needs to re-write their books to include more materials for Level 3.
