I had to reschedule my CFA exam and contacted Kaplan about extending access to the study material, they emailed back and said I could extend access for $99. When I called to pay, they refused to process the extension and acted as if they never made the claim. This is an irresponsible business practice for a company of Kaplan’s size. According to SEC filings, they borrowed $300,000,000 from JPMorgan, BofA, and 4 other banks in 2022 alone. The loans were guaranteed by other subsidiaries of Kaplan’s parent company, Graham Holdings, a listed company with a $3.39 billion market cap. Yet despite these finances and their strong market position across multiple securities exams, CFA, CAIA, FRM, etc, Kaplan still feels the need to lie over $99? As almost every other review I’ve read here and on other forums suggests, Kaplan’s course delivery is fine, but their customer service and business practices are atrocious. The instructor speaks very fast and looks like he merely reads from script rather than explain the topic. Also the text book makes the formula for sections 2-4, 2-5 and 2-6 very difficult. You need to show the calculation steps using the calculator’s keys.

This tool is great and I love the on demand lessons, the only bad thing is that estimated time for every activity es far far away from reality , at the end it’s taking at least double the estimated time to finish every chapter

I purchased the programs for both parts of FRM exam prep. Have passed part one and in process of completing part two. Well organised and structured learning process by Karplan.
