If I could give a lower rating than 1 I would. I see I am not the only one. Their customer service is nonexistent. Can't call and talk to person. The online support is terrible. All you get is an automated response. I spent good money for a lock and one of the parts was missing. Very disappointed.

Can't conceive how they've been around for so long. They're brand new combination 9 V battery front door lock left us outside when even the key did not work and cost us a fortune. We never even knew it was battery operated on a $500 door. We called the emergency hotline as we were locked out of our house and no one answered even the next morning it took three attempts to get one of the most unprofessional vulgar and was literally no use to me at all I had to unscrew the Case and find out what to do all on my own and yet this name has been around for I don't know how many years but the product is manufactured with so many nuances Just to its own lock and CS makes it worse.

Nightmare scenario!!! Caused by their absolutely inferior product. Smart lock malfunctioned. The backup key did not fit the lock (which is absolutely insane). I was locked out, and the locksmith couldn't get me in. I had to stay in a hotel and damaged my front door in the process of finally getting in. Customer service nonexistent.

Very disappointed with Schlage. My Schlage electronic deadbolt stopped working in less than a year. Replacing the batteries didn’t fix the problem, and getting support has been a nightmare. Their website directed me to an AI chatbot, and after wasting about 10 minutes answering questions, it asked me for my credit card information just to continue. It felt suspicious and completely inappropriate for a warranty or support request. Trying to reach a real person by phone was nearly impossible. A lock is something you depend on for security and reliability, and both the product and the customer service fell far short of expectations. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Schlage products. It stopped working within less than 12 months.

Should of read the review before buying a 400$ lock. Bought in May a Encode Plus after 2 months lock stoped working. Sent a email on July 31st and called last Friday to know what was going one. Lady told me a new lock would be shipped. August 5th I call again. The agent tells me the email was not even read yet. Horrible customer service. Don't buy from them !!!

If I could give Schlage a ZERO, I would. I recently purchased door hardware for 7 entry doors and exterior gates. The idea was to purchase everything so that the entire property is all alike and keyed the same. The owner wanted to "Step up" from the Home Depot Quickset locks. After installing all seven sets, the owner asked if there was something we could do to fix the slopiness of the latch handles. We went back in to see if there was anything we could do. To our surprise, we fould that some of the parts inside were made of plastic. We removed all the new products from Schlage and reinstalled the old Quickset locks. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE QUALITY?? Schlage turned into trash. We are now looking to other suppliers for our project.

I purchased the Schlage Camelot Electronic Keypad Deadbolt Lock, Keyless Front Door Entry, Mechanical Key Backup Included, Matte Black, BE365 CAM 622. At first it worked fine for a while, then the lock and unlock feature stopped engaging and the lock knob would just spin. I contacted the Schlage warranty department. Wendy from Schlage handled my claim and after many, many emails back and forth sending pictures and videos of the locks operation or the lack thereof, I finally give up. They should have offered a replacement lock and I would have sent them the defective lock, but that did not happen. Very disappointed how Schlage handles warranty claims. Shame on them!

Schlage SUCKS!!! I would give negative stars if I could. Schlage logs you out of the app randomly, so when you really need to let someone into your house, you are left trying to log into the app.
