Horrible!!!!! Represantives keep stalling telling me 3 to 5 days everytime I call for my refund unbelievable frustrating talking to people overseas having to explain myself over and over again. They tell me To send them a bank statement for past 6 months, I send it to them and they come up with more excuses everytime. Worst experience I have ever had with customer service ever. Stay away from these people!!

Santander as a business in sub par. Don't give them your money! They suck!

This has to be the worst financial institution and the online account features are terrible. Good luck trying to get a human when you call their support number also.

This company is a scam. Do not get me wrong, this is a real company. But the workers will lie to you and the company will steal your money. Be very careful doing business with this financial institution because chances are you will have to sue them later down the line. I recently purchased a car last year and was randomly assigned to this financial institution for my Loan. This past August, I missed a payment because I forgot to update my portal with my new banking information, totally my fault. I didn’t notice until the next pay period which was September instead of making two payments. I decided to take them up on a payment plan that they offered. I would be charged an extra $200 per car payment for the next four months. So my payment plan starts in September and it ends in December. These people decided they were going to NOT honor the payment plan!!!! HIGHLY ILLEGAL BUT AGAIN THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT THE LAW AT ALL. I have been going back-and-forth all September trying to figure out what is going on and why after I paid the full payment for September it still says that I owe a balance. And I had to talk to three different representatives and I even had to threaten them before they would finally pass me over to a supervisor. The supervisor explain what happened, which made sense but again what they did was illegal. He explained to me that yes I did pay my first installment for my payment plan but instead of honoring the payment plan they took that payment and they fully paid off August. These idiots then tired to get me to simply give them more money in September and to break my payment plan. Absolutely not!! Not only did they mess with someone that knows law but I care about other people as well. That’s why I’m here to let everyone know that this company will lie to you. And you need to hold them accountable. If you were on the phone talking to representative and they tell you something that doesn’t make sense, demand to speak to a supervisor. If that supervisor is telling you something that that doesn’t make sense, demand to talk to somebody else. Everything is recorded and you do have legal option. After this review, I am finding a claim with the CFPB and I suggest everyone else do the same if they feel like they have been taken advantage of lied to or having their money stolen from them. Don’t argue and fight with these people. Hand the case over to the local authorities and have them deal with it.

My contract sets a monthly payment of $588.46, and my account now shows only $1,751.01 remaining. I have paid substantially ahead on this loan. I want Santander to explain in writing why it continues to bill the full monthly amount, why it shows $588.46 past due, and whether my additional payments were applied to principal or to future installments. Please provide a complete payment history and an itemized account ledger showing how every payment was applied, the specific installment you claim is past due, any fees or interest included in the balance, and my current payoff amount. If my payments were applied incorrectly, please correct the account, remove resulting fees, and correct any inaccurate credit reporting.

I had vehicle financed through their company that was totaled in May my insurance check was coming in between 5-7 buisness day's my payment was do on the 27th of the month and I called and asked about this and I was told I should be fine because it should be within a few days of payment. I see this month which is September that my credit score has dropped to 650 behind a loan so I'm thinking someone has hacked me and I find out its Santander for 60 days late. I had no bill in the mail like I would get each month, no phone call for late payment. I called and the representative told me that they had reached out and gave the last four digits of the number I did not know so I asked for her to give me the whole phone number. They had been calling my job had put this in for my main contact number, my question why was mail no longer used when you billed me this way all the time and I still have not got an answer. I just want everyone to check your credit score every week bc to me they did this purposely
