No problem with finance
No problem with finance. I tried to pick up my new Tesla on Dec 31st to get the 7500 rebate. So after the rebate and taxes were added in the model 3 performance ended up at $51000 and some change on a 54000 retail vehicle… not a huge savings. The uber driver failed to show up, forcing me to drive to Austin to finalize the sale. I signed all the papers and asked if I could leave my used model 3 on the lot, and I was told no, as they are a delivery center and not a dealership. I asked how I was supposed to get home and they insisted that I drive the new Tesla Due to not being able to leave my car without guaranteeing that it would not be vandalized, I decided to leave the new car instead. I was told it is my property and it cannot stay on the premises for the same reason.., we are a delivery station and not a dealership. I was told on the way home that the 7500 tax incentives go away on the 1st. And that if I didn’t “finalize the deal by driving it off the lot” that in effect I had not “taken ownership.” And the car would go back to inventory. So what happens next? I guess they will need to reimburse my 20,000 plus deposit. I haven’t been reimbursed yet.
