I paid my car loan off in June 2026 …
I paid my car loan off in June 2026 and I will not get my car title until August 2026. I called several times to get a pay off letter and they will not fax or email it to me. There services is less than a rating of a 1. They need to be reported to the better bureau for there poor service.

THEY APPLY MY PAYMENTS TO PRINCIPLE NOT TO THE NEXT DUE DATE.
I have had a loan at 3.99% with Santander for almost 2 years. Any time I pay prior to my due date my due date doesn't forward. This has happened on 3 different occasions each tine I have had to call 2 to 4 times and request they fix this. This seems to be an ongoing problem and I doubt its just my account. I dont think the agents submit your requests. When they do or say it was they say oh they never changed your due date. Many of them do not speak good English. I love my mitsubishi but I will never finance a vehicle with santandar again . THE REPLY MAKES NO SENSE. I paid my April payment right around mid month when its due. Then I paid end of April for my May payment. I have never been behind or made late payments.

Please note that any amount paid above the total due shown on the front of your statement by the due date will be applied to your loan balance, but it will not advance your next payment due date. You'll still need to make at least one regular monthly payment by the due date each billing cycle until the loan is paid in full. If you'd like your extra payment applied differently, please give us a call at 888-222-4227, and we'd be happy to review your options for reallocating that payment. I received an email inviting me to create an online account for my new car loan loan, However, when I clicked on the link to create a new online account, I encountered a stop sign with a “404 Not Found” error message. No a good “sign”

You have to call customer service…
You have to call customer service multiple times to get documents that you request and they may or may not take it upon themselves to email them to another person without your permission.

HORRIBLE
HORRIBLE. Spent over ten hours on the phone with no help, no guidance, and I’m completely dumbfounded that this company is even existing still.
