Insurance card is a flimsy piece of paper. Hospital declined my insurance to have a baby. You have to do all the work and calling yourself when trying to find anyone to accept this insurance because no one has ever heard of it. Absolutely ROTTEN.

Hello and thanks for allowing us to review our experience with SANA. Your company is extremely difficult to communicate with both as a broker and as an insured. in our experience Phones are NEVER answered at Sana. Your v mail system says wait times are "3 minutes" however we always stay on hold until default v-mail 11-12 minutes with forced vmail and then nobody ever calls us back; it is truly like vmails land in a black hole. Your service team hides behind robot chat lines that are not helpful.... only frustrating and vmail that are not answered. We do not have a Sana sales rep; we do not have a Sana service rep; there is not a Sana regional manager that is accessible or helpful when we need response.... The "date of this response" is ongoing. We tried for three weeks to speak with someone to no avail. I have left several emails and several voicemails over the last three weeks that are still unanswered. Again Thanks for allowing us to rate our experience. one star is generous but the lowest offered; zero response deserves a zero star. We like the Sana product and hope the experience for clients gets better .. we need a service model that is renewable based on customer and broker experiences not just low rates.

Sana is a smaller company. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but bc they are designed for smaller companies, the employee tends to pay a lot more for insurance that offers a lot less. Most hospitals/doctors have never heard of them, so there's always an awkward moment when checking in or out of an appointment where things get sorted. Then, after it all gets figured out, SANA will send emails, and call multiple times bc they don't have their own records straight. Just a headache. Another odd thing: with just 10 months of SANA I have a stack of ID cards which happen to be cheap paper, almost as though they assume you will lose them repeatedly. I was able to get my grill going with the large stack. :)

Company not known by providers, and our provider had to call in to confirm and I was also on the phone and couldn't get thru to anyone. What an experience! As we waited for all to clear prior to seeing our provider. I am grateful we arrived 30 mins early to our appointment, because of this reason. I rate you 1 star due to delays with your unknown company.
