card was late and no one takes your coverage here. Looking for an agent to help me find another line of coverage

Very disappointed with this insurance. Hardly anyone is familiar with it, and it's not as easy as just telling a doctor or provider to "sign up" for something. The doctors that are listed on Sana's website, all seem to have disturbingly low ratings - places I would not go if my life depended on it, based on valid reviews. I've been turned down several times by providers who I really wanted to use, but couldn't, because they didn't want to even mess with it. The entire process is convoluted because of this. I feel I have to fight to get coverage, when all I want to do, is hand my insurance card to the front desk, and be on my way. Coverage is also very confusing. I've got a "Credit card" that I'm supposed to use to cover services until claims are submitted and reviewed - but what does this mean exactly? I have no clue, and it's just too much reading involved to figure it out. I've called to ask, never seem to get a straight answer. I'm taking a risk it seems every time I go for any type of treatment or service. It "may" or "may not" be covered - it's ridiculous. Zero peace of mind. We are basically paying high dollar for insurance that is nearly useless, and more troublesome than it's worth. Supposedly chiropractic is covered... okay so what does that mean?? Just the adjustment is covered? The entire visit? Or just part of it? X-rays? MRI? Things that a decent chiropractor should always do BEFORE providing chiropractic adjustments? Or just the adjustment? There seems to be no specifics for anything, no real details, and again, no one has heard of Sana and almost immediately turns me away or tells me I have to pay of pocket, leaving me to play a claims game.

Hi Daniel, I am a Member Advocate here at Sana Benefits and I wanted to reach out regarding your recent review about not being able to find a provider that accepts Sana. As a friendly reminder, Sana is an all-access plan, which means that we don’t charge out-of-network fees because we believe you should be able to see any provider you want. If your preferred provider doesn’t show up in our search, no problem! In this case, you can invite them to join Sana. I've gone ahead and listed out the steps on how you can Invite your Provider below: How to request a provider: 1. Sign in to your Sana account and click Find a Doctor (https://secure.sanabenefits.com/find-a-doctor) 2. See if your provider is already in our system 3. Next to your search results, you'll see the option to Invite a Provider 4. Complete our new form 5. Sana will contact the provider to explain Sana and confirm access 6. We'll email you once you're all set (Note: It helps our team move things along faster if you already have an appointment scheduled.) Also, I wanted to provide some information about the Sana Pay Card that we offer Sana members as an additional benefit for situations when you find a provider and are not wanting to bill Sana and make you pay out of pocket. The card is a useful card to have so you don't have to miss your appointment. This link answers more questions in detail as well as the steps on how to enroll in the card. STUCK WITH MY 2ND YEAR OF HAVING SANA AND SMITH RX - ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE - SMITH RX COVERS NOTHING - SANA PREVENTIVE CARE- EVERY EXPENSIVE - COLONSCOPY'S ARE NOT COVERED AT 100%, YOU WILL GET EVERY BILL POSSIBLE. THEY MAY HAVE SEMI LOW COINSURANCE BUT FOR PREVENTATVE CARE YOU STILL PAY. I WILL NOT HAVE ANYTHING ELSE EVER DONE, NO MAMMAGRAM, NO PAP, NO MORE COLONSCOPY WHICH I AM REQUIRED EVERY 5 YEARS DUE TO THE CANCER THEY FOUND. BUT WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN. AND NO BLOOD TEST OF PHYSICALS. THIS COMPANY RATHER MAKE MONEY OFF OF YOU THEN PROCESS THE CLAIM THE WAY IT SHOULD. EVEN"" UHC"" PAYS THESE PROCEDURES CORRECTLY. AND THATS SAYING ALOT SINCE THEY LIKE TO DENY ALL CLAIMS. ALSO, THEY HAVE SMITH RX DICTATING WHAT MEDICATION YOU CAN TAKE. I AM TAKING 2 OUT OF 7 DUE TO THE COST OR COVERAGE. SOME WERE COVERED LAST YEAR BUT NOT THIS YEAR. EVEN WITH THE DR WRITING TO THEM THAT IS MEDICAL NECESSARY, THAT WAS JUST A WASTE OF TIME, THEY STILL DENY IT. THEY WOULD RATHER ME HAVE A HEART ATTACK, GO BLIND AND GET CANCER THAN PAY FOR THE MEDICATION I HAD BEEN TAKING FOR OVER A YR TO HELP ME STAY ALIVE AND KEEP ME SANE. THEY DO NOT COVER MENTAL HEALTH DRUGS WHATSOEVER. AND AS FOR GLAUCOMA, WITH THAT NOT COVERED AT ALL. LUMIGAN NOT COVERED AND THE ONLY DRUG THAT DID WORK. YET I WILL BE GOING BLIND. THEY DO NOT MIND CHARGING HIGH PREMIUMS AND MAKING UNREAL PROFITS OVER 60 PLUS MILLION, AND THATS ALOT FOR A SMALL INSURANCE - """WILL YOUNG """MUST HAVE A HUGE SALARY ALONG WITH ""JAKE FRENZ""- NOT PAYING MAKES YOU ALOT OF PROFIT. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS INSURANCE AT ALL, IF YOU PLAN ON HAVING A HORRIBLE QUALITY OF LIFE. THIS IS THE INSURANCE TO GET. I DID NOT HAVE A CHOICE, MY EMPLOYERS PICKED THEM NOT ONCE BUT TWICE. I DOUBT I WILL BE ALIVE NEXT YEAR DUE TO HEART MEDICINE NOT COVERED AND INSANE.

I’ve been trying to get approval for hearing aids. I made numerous phone calls always sent a different direction never could get the same answer. I also emailed twice to speak to a supervisor. Never got a response.
