My company hired Sam's Limousine for a team building event and we were very happy with them. The driver showed up early allowing us time to load early to avoid losing any time. We got there and back in a very timely manner despite some construction closures along the way. We were happy with them with the exception of 2 major events we felt put us in unnecessary danger: -Our driver missed our exit and instead of taking the next exit and doing a u-turn, he pulled over onto the shoulder and reversed so he could take that exit. This is with cars going 70-80mph passing us up and we felt that was a horrible decision on his part -Another instance is when he was trying to turn into a restaurant and instead of waiting for a better opportunity, he floored it across 2 lanes of traffic and there was a SUV that had to slam on their brakes and honked their horn. That could have ended badly as well. The overall trip was a success and I am between 3-4 stars, but I feel we can't overlook those two major incidences. While nothing bad happened, it just demonstrated poor judgement on the driver's part.

Overall, this was an “ok” experience. For the amount we paid, we were looking for better service. The driver arrived on time, which was nice. The car looked very nice on the outside. The driver did not introduce himself, nor say anything to us when we walked out to get in the car. Inside was clean, but very very strong odor of cigarettes. The driver did not speak very good English, he did not understand us when we were asking him questions. Also, he didnt use the navigation on the car but on his phone and he kept taking his eyes off the road - looking down at his phone the entire drive, made us very uncomfortable. We ended up having the same car and driver for our trip home. The experience didn’t change on that ride from the first.

Asked to be taken to whataburger on the way to the hotel from our wedding and was told that wasn’t okay. For 200$ and a 15 minute ride I didn’t think it was too much to ask.

Our driver was very friendly. He was helpful at the airport. However, during our ride, we would have preferred not to hear his political views on Saddam Hussein. While we greatly appreciate the friendliness, the political viewpoints of the driver took away from our ride to Galveston.

The booking experience and the drivers were excellent! We had multiple vehicles on the wedding night and when we needed to contact one of the drivers the dispatcher was rude, continually placed us on hold or hung up on us. By the third call I insisted she look closer at our transportation plan and contact our driver for a scheduled pick up. Eventually she did. Unfortunately I had family members in tears and an over tired toddler. The dispatcher was totally incompetent and beyond rude. After two follow up calls to Sam's there has been no follow up/resolution on their part. Very disappointing for the total amount of money we spent.

Took 1/2 hour longer than it should have because of poor gps information or usage

Reserved two buses. The first bus that showed up was already making a very bad noise. It has knobs missing from the instrument panel and didn't appear to be anything I saw in the fleet preview. The bus ended up over heating and breaking down. Was left wondering was a vehicle check even completed prior to departure from the business. There was a time conflict on the second bus, but Sam's showed great professionalism and the second bus arrived in great time. I was suppose to get a call back, but still haven't heard from anyone to date. My supervisor strongly suggest we never use your service again.

Bus driver would not listen to wedding coordinator in doing shuttles. He just parked bus on street away from River Oaks then finally drove around. Caused her a bit of stress as some people were ready to load the bus. When you pay for 5 to 6 hours service, Buses should know it is to shuttle, not just park the bus till later. Family bus was late for photos.. think there was some confusion in communication. Parents pay for wedding coordinators to make the wedding run smoothly... drivers should listen to their requests & not cause them stress in proscrastinating. There are too many details a coordinator has to balance. This was her one complaint .
