The experience was great. I emailed asking about a product and got an informational response within 30 minutes. The checkout process is very easy and the prices are good.

I have been purchasing aquatic animals for years from this company, I have never had a problem getting a refund for animals that did not come in well. I do not have a holding tank due to lack of space.But i have the best of equiptment and almost 300 gal of tank space fully stocked. The animals that were sent some came in near dead due to a bag the broke and some were so small they litterly disappeared in the system once properly acclimated. I submitted my explanation and they will not refund anything without a PHOTO!. Ive been doing this hobby for over 40 yrs and it is not unusual that a fish may hide for days after being introduced, whidh makes it extremely difficult to get the animal out for a photo opp. For well established tank fully stock once a very small animal goes missing or doesnt make a showing after a few days there may be a problem or not. I run a UV sterilizer for added protection against disease. In order for find the missing fish it would require tearing the tank apart to get it out and take a photo. It simply is not worth doing that to and taking a chance of doing more damage than the credit is worth, In any event i purchased two order totally over $550 the gave me a $15 credit not for the loses only for one that didnt pass inspection. For me it was a loss of over $$200. Somehow i dont think i most veteran aquarists would agree, I send a pic of the whole tank to show how stocked and difficult it would be search out the animals. Ive been purchasing from this company for years and never was i refused a verbal loss with the above explanation. Tell me what you would do? Other that stop purchasing my reef animals from them, whcih is sad since they have been so good for years about this situation for new purchases. I hope they company will take a second look at my story and do the right thing to keep a good customer.Why would i go through all this if i was not being sincere. Just wanted to warn those with setups like mine that is may happen to you, especially if its any expensive animal.
