I had a seamless experience while refinancing my mortgage.

It was a frustrating at first due to several changes in personnel assigned to our loan, but in the final third (after the 2nd loan officer and 2nd loan processor), things started to happen and our loan was approved, even if 7 days late (4 days after original closing date).

The agent was upfront about costs, he kept me up to date on what to expect.

Troy was excellent, always available and really helped push through the closing with the underwriter when there was a hiccup with the HOA.

Made it happen in very short time.

Everything was great, but for the delayed disbursement of funds. Our loan officer was terrific, the closing attorney very prompt and helpful. The closing service excellent at scheduling, but sending the funding wire should be a morning priority. Because it was sent late in the day on a Friday, our building materials could not be ordered until Mondaycreating a work delay.

Best rates I could find and willing to negotiate rates and fees when directly compared to other companies. There were some bumps along the road with the loan originator, but the loan officer (Ilan Friedman) was phenomenal and helped drive the process along - even though it was beyond his job scope. Couldn't recommend him more highly.

The respresentatives were great! The only issue we ran into was the portal wouldn't always update when we finished tasks so we had to double confirm on the phone that Sage didn't need anything else from us.
