Sage Dental is an absolute rip off. I have tried numerous times to go back to them and every single time I have just needed a cleaning. They have tried to sell me deep cleanings antibiotics, etc. that aren’t covered by my insurance. Up to the tune of five to 600 $ a visit. They are rude as well. I will never go back to Sage Dental or recommend them. Find a better dentist that will work with you. My teeth are perfectly healthy. Never had a cavity never hurt, but I still need all these expensive treatments absolutely insane.

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER
THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER! I received a filler at this place for $600, and after four months, it fell out. When I returned to have it redone under their supposed one-year guarantee, I was informed that the doctor who performed the procedure was no longer there. I was told I had to pay for a new treatment, and the manager stated there was nothing she could do. When I asked why the filler was administered if it was inappropriate, she suggested that I must have pressured my dentist, leaving it as her word against mine, and since the doctor is no longer available, I have no recourse.

New patient
New patient, kept me waiting 30 minutes, did a lot of x-rays, found no problems, would not do standard cleaning, said would only do deep cleaning that costs over $800. I walked out. Very upset, I believe they scam/rip-off patients. I will never return.

Unethical!
This office deserves less than 1 star. Their licenses should be revoked. They were completely unethical in their evaluation of my dental needs. They noted areas of my gums that were "#5" with blood. All so that they could charge me for a deeper cleaning that is not covered by my insurance, and I would have had to pay over $100 for. I refused the cleaning. Went back to my old dentist a day later. My old hygienist remeasured my gums; he found NO "#5's" and no bleeding and no reason to do anything other than a regular cleaning. The charge for the regular cleaning, WITHOUT the Delta Dental insurance, was $65. Sage Dental and Delta Dental Insurance should be required to reimburse me for what I had to pay out of pocket because of their unethical tactics. PATIENT BEWARE! THIS OFFICE IS A TOTAL SCAM!

DO NOT GO
I was previously a patient at Horizon Dental, which was later taken over by Sage, prompting me to give it a try. During my visit for a cleaning and X-rays, the dental hygienist conducted the X-rays and photos before discussing necessary treatments, which I believed was the dentist's responsibility. Throughout the process, she frequently checked my insurance coverage and attempted to upsell me on a periodontal tray for nighttime use, claiming I had bone loss—something I had never experienced before. When the dentist arrived, she stated that everything looked good, but the hygienist continued to interject with concerns, creating a confusing atmosphere. After the dentist left, the hygienist insisted that I needed a deep cleaning, to be done in two stages, despite my protests that I had never required such treatment. I simply wanted a regular cleaning, but she refused, leading me to leave the office and seek care at McGregor Dental, where I received excellent service without any pressure to purchase additional treatments. I found the upselling tactics at Sage Dental unsettling and suspect that the hygienist may receive commissions for promoting extra services, which contributed to my discomfort during the visit.

Last year
Last year, I had a bridge done by Sage of the loop, and they charged me over $4000. A year later, it fell out. I went back to the clinic, and they wanted to charge me $7000 to completely redo the bridge. All I wanted them to do was to reglue it back.

I am trying to get a claim corrected…
I am trying to get a claim corrected and Sage is no help. This problem goes back tp Sept 2025. They owe me about $1500 for items billed that insrance should pay. They do not proide the insurer the needed details to correct the claim. No one is interested nor can be reached directly.
