SafewayReviews of safeway.com

Safeway is a grocery store and it’s really popular in Colorado where I used to live. They had great prices but my favorite thing to do in the store is coupon! This store is on point for mixing coupons and their everyday deals!

I really like Safeway there staff is always friendly and helpful. The one thing I really hate is when I'm clipping coupons and see that the only way I'm going to get a deal is if I shop online for pickup or delivery. I like to shop myself and see the staff but I don't get the same deals because I shop in store. I shouldn't get punished and not get the same deals as online shoppers get just because I shop in store. We should all get the same deals wether shopping in store or online. Please make this right and give everyone the same deals not just online shoppers special deals when in store shoppers buy the same products as online shoppers but if we want we have to pay full price just because we choose to shop in store. I shop in store every week and prefer to.

I think this chain of stores is very good. Each specific store is a little different. They have top-quality selections. Their prices aren't the bottom of the barrel, but, neither am I, so it works for me. I dislike two things: 1. There are employees working at the 20895-zip-code store who have horrible homeless-style body odor. Worse, they are touching fruits and vegetables. That's an issue --- these are not normally heated prior to eating. I complained and was ignored. 2. They have that some stuff is locked behind their plastic covers. It's ridiculous, as one cannot really see what they are trying to sell.

I had great service at Safeway by Liam on the 25th! It was so pleasant to see a young man with a great attitude and a smile to greet customers!

I'd love to share my thoughts since I'm a frequent visitor to this chain store. They offer a wide variety of products, although the selection of dairy items could use some improvement. It's great that I can find everything on my shopping list there. However, there's one downside – I often notice an unpleasant odor around the food sections, like mold or decay. Due to this, I'm cautious about buying fish and meat from those areas. On a positive note, I really appreciate their 15% discount on all products every first Tuesday of the month.

I think Safeway is the best store in the neighborhood

I want to recognize an employee at Safeway, Waltham Woods, Parkville, MD - his name is Keyon. I was buying bread at the bakery department and he was the only one who actually went out of his way to help me. I had initially asked a female employee for help in buying a freshly made loaf of Italian bread...she did go into the back to check and then I never saw her again! Keyon (who was obviously doing other duties) kindly asked if I needed help. He instantly went into the back and grabbed me a freshly made loaf of bread, put it in a bag, warned me it was still warm, and gave it to me with a smile! This is true customer service! Thanks Keyon. If it wasn't for you, I'd still be waiting!!!

It is useless to write a review without mentioning the store location. The Florence Oregon store is well managed, makes good when they are out of stock with what they have of the same type, even it is more expensive and the coupons nearly always work. Safeway is always high price, with excellent value coupons which must be used to make any economic sense. If you use the loyalty card, you get rewards which you gets you items for free or gas price reductions. My only concern is they will be gobbled up by Fred Meyer which will close this store eliminating competition and a pharmacy in our small town. I use their pharmacy and have had no issues with it.
