Pickup was awful. If I could give this store a negative rating I would. I pulled up to a Pickup spot, sent the "I'm parked, car type and color", through their app, then received the "we'll be out in 5 minutes" message. I proceeded to wait for 10 minutes, the man in the car next to me, who was already parked and waiting when I got there, was angry and headed into the store. Another 5 minutes and I had to call the store and ask if anyone was working Pickup. Someone named Kevin told me no, that the worker had already gone home, and that he was now heading to cover the Pickup duties. I waited a few more minutes, Kevin came out with the items for the guy parked next to me but he was still in the store. The man finally comes out, not happy at all, and Kevin loads the items into the back of his car, Kevin then tells me he'll be back in a few with my order. I ordered 26 items from their website, but they only had 10 in stock, and even charged me for an item they didn't give me! Worst pickup experience ever! Never again! Never Safeway!

Had to go back twice to prove coupon had been clipped. There is ALWAYS a problem with Safeway honoring their own “deal” Lol.

I did not get anything close to what I ordered! Apparently the kids working think Eggnog is alcohol? They gave me the most expensive alcohol they could find!! Do not use this service. When I went in to get a receipt the high school kid said they cannot cancel an order they have to choose other items!? It’s all about making money I guess let’s charge them for the most expensive groceries we can find? This is a joke Do Not Use this service!!

I am disabled and rely on delivery for everything, particularly groceries. During the pandemic, I mostly used Safeway. After a number of issues, I switched to Fred Meyer. This week I ordered from Safeway, as there is an item I regularly use that I can only find there. So I thought I would stock up on that item, and get some other groceries, as well. Big mistake. They failed to substitute for one item. The bread was expired and stale. The hamburger expired weeks ago. They have authorized a refund for the cheese and bread, but not the hamburger. Are you kidding me? Missing item that was charged for. And they couldn’t even be bothered to bag all the groceries. Ridiculous!

Sale prices are a scam. Most of the time they aren't given at checkout unless you catch it.

Did not have half of the items, even when ordered a week ahead. Insane substitution (ordered currants substituted raisin yogurt) that was not refunded because I did not opt of out the default. Customer service call, long wait, no help. NEVER AGAIN!

The Management of this place is complete garbage and unempathetic. Don't work for Safeway.

Your digital coupons are a fraud. I cannot believe I still walk into your store after the last several times your system claimed I would get the advertised price on groceries, but instead was told my digital coupon app is not working. STOP WITH THESE FRAUDULENT COUPONS and just give us the advertised price that is posted on the shelf.
