We should have been told that the tubs was to be put on a finished floor as we held off from retailing our floor until install was completed…instead we went through the entire install only to find out after the complete install that the tub was on legs…now we have a beautiful tub sitting on a bare plywood floor that is not watertight or water proof

ok the man came by and sold me the tub about three weeks go by and the installer came and put the tub in. then the trouble started the installer said the breaker box on the house was no up to code. and the tub needed to wired in. about three weeks later safe step drew a electrical permit and the power company came and turned off the power. there so called electriction was no licenced in the state great actually had no license, so no the electriocal inspector refuses to turn the power back on. a local company saved the day by. promising to do the job right. about three weeks later they put in a new breaker box corecetley and left. all the while no work from safe step i had to rent gererators out of pocket while the work was bieng done .about three more weeks go by and safe step calls for the rest of there money. on the same day as the call i noticed the lables on the hot cold part were gone i called safe step they said the tub warrenty was no good because of a lien on the tub for. non payment they had never called me through all the porblems they caused never i mean nerver deal with these loosers.

The product is good but the sales person sucks. First the sales person was late the day of our appointment then when it came to the financing part he was rushing, we asked what the monthly payments will be he rushed to say it was just in the $200 range and submitted the application. He insisted that all the information will be sent to us. When we got our bill, yes the minimum payment was in the $200 range but it will cost us more in the interest rate and longer to pay off, but if you pay a triple the amount will save like $13K on the interest rate and pay it off with in 3 years. We felt like we got scammed but I would not recommend this company to any of our friends and finally since the sale person is very unprofessional about the payment towards the product, I would like to file a compliant ,please let me know where to address this. I would defiantly like to prevent others from signing papers before getting all the necessary information on the financial part.

They responded to my 1 star review with a fake and phony response to email them.I emailed them several times,and no reply.Then they got it deleted,for some reason.I had to email TP and ask why? Is TP a crooked company too? This is a pure scumbag company ,they preys on the elderly. Stay away from this extremely expensive scam. Walk in Showers start at $12K+++ with a shower rod.A door and a seat add about $3k each! About $18K+ for a walk in shower with a seat and door,and basic smooth acrylic walls.If you upgrade the walls add $3-5K++. The Walk in tubs are $20-30K.. They will offer financing for 180 months!

Can't close the door ain't got no room to take a bath .I ordered a custom built tub.to fit my body .the tub is too small for my body.they remove a large garden tub with jets . because of health reasons.i needed a walk in tub.and what I do have a tub can't use .money waste and my time.kevin Blair have all the info you meed

Please see above. I look forward to your installing another crack- less tub. Please advise of date.06082023 4 days later - Safe Step has responded quickly and graciously to my concerns. The tub was, in fact, not actually cracked. Rather, a gap had developed between the tub and a front panel. A re-application of silicone has resolved the situation. Thanks to all who worked to make that happen!

2023: They are the most expensive walk in tubs,and showers in the industry.The walk in tub cost on average is $25,000++.It can be more,if you want a door,instead of a shower rod etc..The glass door for the tub is outrageously expensive at over $5k.And it's a 3/4 length. It doesn't enclose the entire space. The ave.walk in shower is $13,000++.They can go over $20k+.The door,seat and walls are a upgrade.The seat is $2,500-3500+.The doors average $3,000-3,500++.The other upgrade is the walls.They come with smooth white or almond acrylic. If you want a pattern it's $3-5k++.If you get a walk in shower,with a seat,glass door and upgraded walls,you're in the $20k range here. The Manager Stephanie,is extremely rude and unprofessional,after the sale.You better hope,you dont have a problem.With them,or their 100% SUB CONTRACTOR INSTALLERS.They do not have installers as employees.100% of every install is from a sub contractor. If the sales person says otherwise,they are lying. I looked through 5+ pages of 1 star reviews,and the prices stated have gone up by over 50%+ on most of the reviews.1 person said it was too much at $14k and change.That was a long time ago! Its now about $20k for the cheapest,smallest "Soaker" walk in tub,with no jets or options.Just a tub to soak in. It's about a 3 hour sales pitch to get the best price.They have several price drops.You'll need to be in a dog fight to get the best price.And then it's still the most expensive on the market. They say on the phone it's affordable.Even though they lie,just to get the salesman in the door.They could quote you over the phone too.They will finance you for 15 years or 180 months.$2,000 down $300+ a mo.for a Soaker tub.It can go way up,if you want jets..$2,000 down $180+ a mo.for a walk in shower.15 years of payments,if you can't pay cash. And you need a 75 gallon water heater if you get their walk in tub too. The tubs hold about 60 gallion.They don't install water heaters.Thats $1,500+ range. $26,500 with a new water heater is a ballpark quote. All of their plumbers are 100% subcontractors in each state.They lie and say they have plumbers that work for them.NO THEY DO NOT!

How in the world does someone get off the Safe Step mailing list? My mother died a year ago. I have spent MONTHS emailing, writing letters, "chatting" (with "a Live Person" no less, lol) asking Safe Step to remove my late mother's name and address from their marketing database and mailing list. NOTHING. A Yelp reviewer complained of the same issue and was told that "an outside company" does their marketing and it is impossible for Safe Step to remove a dead person from their database. Ridiculous! How can I trust them to install a $20,000 tub if they can't even keep their mailing list updated? Show some respect, Safe Step, and remove the deceased from your records when asked. Or at least be honest on your website and give people a link to have their mailing address removed. So frustrating! And such a waste of time and money.
