They charge extra for the certificate but dont tell till after.
Response from SafeMotoristOct 14, 2026
We're sorry for the confusion, Tom, and we apologize for the inconvenience. The extra charges you saw are optional upgrades and aren't required to complete your course. The standard certificate is included in your purchase. Thank you for sharing your feedback, which helps us make this clearer for future students.

Awful. Tech issues. Ambiguous information in reading causing incorrect answers in quizzes and final.
Response from SafeMotoristSep 2, 2026
Hi Sharon, we're sorry to hear your experience wasn't a good one. Ambiguous quiz wording and tech issues are frustrating, and that's not the experience we want for our students. We're passing your feedback to our content team so we can improve clarity going forward. Thank you for taking the time to share this with us.
Jordan
Lying that it’s dmv approved, wasted $25 and didn’t get any points off my license so thank you.
Response from SafeMotoristSep 2, 2026
Hi Jordan, we're sorry for the frustration. Whether a course reduces points or dismisses a ticket depends on the specific course and your state/court requirements — not every approved course qualifies for point reduction, even when it qualifies for other benefits like an insurance discount. We've escalated your account internally to confirm which course you completed and will follow up with you directly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Your statistics were from 2003. You also advertise one price and then add on for other "services". You are sleazy and I have been spreading the word. I didn't keep track of the exact date that I took this joke of a test, but I know I had to wait several days until proof was available and then I had to let my insurance company know since you don't even do that. Rip Off.
Response from SafeMotoristSep 2, 2026
Hi Linda, we're sorry to hear about your experience, especially the confusion around pricing and insurance reporting. To clarify, the standard certificate is included in your course price and is available five days after completion — the instant certificate is only an optional add-on and isn't required to complete the course or receive your certificate. We've also flagged the insurance reporting question to our team so we can follow up with you directly. Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback.
