After three failed attempts (your highest score was 67%), New York State DMV regulations require that the course be locked and restarted from the beginning. This isn't an app issue or something we can work around - it's a state mandate we must follow to remain an approved provider. We want to be completely honest with you: in all our time operating, we've never had anyone fail this introductory quiz before. This is genuinely unprecedented for us. It's designed to be straightforward and just confirms you've reviewed the basic course information. Thank you for sharing your feedback, Cedric. We're sorry this process was frustrating for you, and we understand your concerns. Based on our records, the course was not completed within the original court-assigned timeframe, which required an extension request. While the court granted a continuance through February 9, 2026, Arizona state law requires defensive driving courses to be completed at least seven days prior to any extension date. We understand the confusion, as the court document wording can reasonably be interpreted differently. However, when our team contacted the court directly to confirm, they advised that the seven-day requirement still applied and the course could not be completed on February 9th. Once a further extension through March 10th was granted, we immediately reactivated your course. You completed it on February 11, 2026, and we electronically reported your completion to the court within minutes. The case record will be fully updated once the court receives the diversion payment check by mail. We genuinely try to give our students as much flexibility as possible, but we are required to comply with timelines set by the court and the State of Arizona. We don't have the authority to override those requirements, even when we'd like to. We regret that this resulted in a negative experience. To clarify, our course content has always been developed and written by a team of human curriculum experts—well before AI writing tools came into play. We also offer the course in Spanish, as we understand not everyone is a native English speaker and want to make learning as accessible as possible. I believe we were able to find your account based on the name you've left the review under, but to be certain we've requested more information and will have a customer service representative reach out. We offer many courses and want to be sure we can fully review the specific course you took. Regarding the pop-up prompts, we completely understand how annoying they can be. Unfortunately, Arizona state regulations require these checks, and we must remain compliant. We’ve asked if we can remove or adjust them, but for now, we’re required to keep them in place.
