BEWARE Of False Advertising, Inaccurate Ingredient Lists, and terrible customer service-they will not fix their mistakes! I am allergic to most coconut-derived ingredients and steer clear of them. I placed an order for shampoo that fit the bill but when I got it, the label was completely different from the website and contained coconut ingredients. I notified this joke of a company-here’s how it went: 1. I got a long dissertation on why they are not liable for misinformation on their site (Ha!), ingredients can change with no notice, and it is my responsibility, as a consumer, to verify ingredients with manufacturers! 2. I am infuriated at this point, and told them they should go verify that with their supplier, as I bought the product from them-not the manufacturer. They agreed to and asked me to tell THEM which ingredients are coconut-derived, to which I did. 3. Next day, I get a response from someone that clearly didn’t read the email chain saying I should just return the product since I seem unhappy with their site, and I am responsible for return shipping. I responded asking if they bothered to read through the email chain before sending that response, as I was waiting for confirmation on the label issue. 4. Got a rude email back saying they have 2,700 emails, so different people reply to the same customer. Again, I am informed that I would be responsible for paying return shipping for their misrepresented product. 5. Lots of back and forth emails that ended with them agreeing to pay for my return shipping “this one time” and scolded me again for not properly researching the ingredients!!!!!! FYI, even the manufacturer’s site had a different ingredient list than what was on my shampoo bottle, and I DID tell them that. I have read a lot of reviews stating they refused to allow customers to return a product-THIS IS UNETHICAL and deceptive trade practices IF an item was not as advertised. Do not let them bully you into believing you are stuck with a product they misrepresented. Dispute it with your credit card company, if all else fails. There are so many other ‘clean’ sites that offer the same products with better business practices. Trust me.
