I have bought several different sabers from online, Mostly from ultrasabers, but from a few others as well. and in my almost 10 years of buying these things, i have also done plenty of Toying around with the inside of said sabers. Getting me a pretty good idea of how long putting one together would take. That being said, it took over 16 weeks for me to get my saber, that is not something i am use to at all, maybe a week and a half waiting time, but never 16 weeks. I do not understand how it would take that long to put together the insides of a saber. For the saber itself, I quite enjoyed it. It is slim, but feels hardy, and not a lot of things on the handle to get in your way which makes dueling easy. The sound quality is not as loud and clear as my ultrasabers are, but I did like the brightness and the kill key and charge port. Overall, I do really enjoy the product i bought from saberforge, I do not think its the best saber I own, but there are certain things i think it did better then other lightsaber companies, I am happy I bought it, however, I would not wait 16 weeks for another one of their sabers again. I hope after some of the aluminum shortages, and some of the harder internal chips become more available to the company, the wait time would go down to at least 2-5 weeks for a saber to arrive, then I might consider buying another, but not until then.

Oh, Saber Forge, it was a long road but worth it in the end. I placed an order for a custom saber, with the Veteran package, in December of 2020. After hearing nothing about its status for THREE MONTHS I attempted to cancel the order, only to receive copy-paste "No because of our 12-15wk lead time policy" emails multiple times. The email exchange with customer service was abysmal. I sent so many emails and received absolutely garbage customer service CONSISTENTLY. Finally in late April 2021, 4 months later, I requested cancellation for the 4th time and was told that I could if I wanted since it had been greater than 15 weeks. I asked what the status of my Saber was, and they actually told me it was preparing to ship! I took a leap of faith and decided to wait for the product, boy am I glad I did. This Saber is beautiful. The custom CNC metal is gorgeous, with no flaws anywhere. The handle wrap is superb. The screws needed to access the saber's functions are low profile and sit flush with no issues. It's bright, makes all the sounds perfectly, and quite sturdy. The product is breathtaking and I absolutely love it; not only is it well made it holds up. I already tested out how "battle-ready" it is and boy it can take a pretty good beating. \ BOTTOM LINE: Absolute TRASH customer service. Do not expect consistent updates on your order, do not expect decent communication via email, do not expect to be able to cancel your order for a month, BUT know the product you're ordering is sublime. One of the best Sabers on the market, definitely worth the wait. I give 3 stars simply because the quality was so phenomenal but the customer service was so abysmal.
