Several things went wrong. My steak was medium instead of medium rare. I had it oscar style. Instead of making a new steak with the oscar topping, they had me scrap off the topping and use it cold on my new steak. Brussel sprouts were mediocre. We had our leftovers packaged up. My steak and my daughters cake were missing. Very costly for a so so meal

Worst Steakhouse Ever
We went to Ruth Chris for my Husband's Birthday. I had no desire to take him there, but a friend had bought a gift card (she was with us so we felt sort of forced to go there) and we thought it must be better than last time. It was not. The whole thing was a mess from start to finish. We have never been so disappointed in a steakhouse. It was a huge BD event, my Husband's 70th and I was so embarrassed that I took him there. The smiles on our faces were the best we could do. We were miserable. The food was awful, it took forever and not one item came out on time.
The prices are way to high for Sizzler style food. The steaks were not made as ordered and we asked do they know how to make a Pittsburgh style steak, "Oh, of course" the clueless server said. I explain below for whoever made that awful steak how to make it. Sad that I have to explain.
It was only 5 pm, we had reservations and the place was next to empty. Our server came by explained she was busy and would be right back. Clearly they don't bother to hire enough people. When she finally showed back up we put in a drink order. I ordered coffee. 10 minutes later, no coffee. I waited and finally go it. It was fine, just like IHOP. Now during dinner my coffee was moved by a runner and I had no idea where it went. I waited and waited and when the server showed up I asked her where my coffee went. She explained that the runner had moved it away from me to the front of the table so he could place sides. It was now quite cold. No explanation. Nothing.
The sides were terrible. We ordered garlic mashed and it was either just mashed potatoes or they forgot the garlic, but they charged me for it. The spinach was luke warm and no one ate it. We ordered lobster mac and cheese and got really bad mac and cheese with cold lobster pieces tossed on the top. None of it was mixed in and it was cold, like it just came out of a freezer bag. It was tough. No one ate that either. The bread was fine.
The salads were okay but not as crisp as they should be. My son in laws steak was okay, sort of like a good Sizzler.
My daughter ordered the jumbo lobster. It was no different than the regular lobster on the menu, just for a much higher price. She was pissed and about at the end of her patience. We would have left, but my grandson has anxiety and that just can't happen, but I had to take him to dinner after this mess.
I had crab cakes that were to be lump crab with a great sauce. They were luke warm and not good, especially for the price. My husband had his non-Pittsburgh style steak (they really need to fire the chef) with asparagus and crab cake. The asparagus was fine, but not even close to what you might expect at a fine dining place. And we ordered a side of it and it just sat.
The Birthday cheesecake they gave my husband was fine. No one ate it. They did have cute little BD glitter that they dropped at the table.
Now the worst of all was my grandson wanted French Onion Soup. Someone forgot and it was delivered at dessert time. No explanation. Nothing. It was watery and not hot. It was left uneaten as most of our food was.
This is by far the worst steakhouse we have ever been to and this was a big day. Can't fix that. Can't fix a server who is slow and can't even make sure the soup is delivered, I don't know, when soup should be delivered. We should have paid for nothing. It was that bad and I have never said that. Shame on you for ripping people off without care.
Now, for the "cook" who ruined my husband's BD steak: To grill a steak Pittsburgh style (also called "black and blue"), cook a thick, room-temperature cut over blazing-hot direct heat (1,000°F+) for just 2 to 3 minutes per side. The outside gets heavily charred and blackened, while the inside stays cool, tender, and rare (blue). It was taken from fridge and not room temp. My husband is from Pittsburgh. It was not at all like I just explained. This is not rocket science.
Moving on, pat the steak completely dry with paper towels, this clearly was not done. Now, rub lightly with high-smoke-point oil (like canola or avocado oil) or a thin layer of butter. Season generously with coarse salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, or a heavy blackening spice blend. Not done at all. Now, fire up the grill as hot as possible. Let the grates heat up intensely for 10 minutes (never happened) Okay, now cook the steak. Place the steak directly over the hottest part of the fire. Sear hard for 2 to 3 minutes on the first side until a dark, charred crust forms. Flip and sear the other side for another 2 to 3 minutes. Do not move it around excessively; you want a fast, aggressive external burn while keeping the interior blue-rare. Rest and serve.
Now if you can't do this than don't say you can. I can do it for God's sake. They don't care about you. They clearly did not care about us.
Do not go there. They should be shut down.

70th birthday party celebration
I celebrated my 70th birthday at Ruth’s Chris Steak House and ordered their 4-course meal, which included a salad, filet & lobster, garlic mashed potatoes, and dessert. The food itself was excellent and cooked well, and the overall dining experience during the meal was enjoyable.
However, I was disappointed at the end of the evening. After completing the full 4-course dinner, I was told there would be a $5 upcharge for creme brûlée because cheesecake was the only dessert option available. Given that this was a special birthday celebration and the total bill for two people exceeded $250, I was surprised that a small accommodation like a complimentary dessert was not offered or included in the experience.
It wasn’t about the $5—it was about the feeling of hospitality on a milestone birthday. At a restaurant of this caliber, I expected a little more attention to guest experience on a special occasion.
Overall, the meal was very good, but the final impression was unfortunately less memorable than it could have been.

Do not eat here
Do not eat here. Hair was in the food. The food tasted of bleach. The bathroom was disgusting. Dirty tissues left on the seats. The managers attitude was racist.

Food was late being served
Food was late being served, steaks were over cooked, the mashed potatoes and spinach were good, drinks were good otherwise not worth the $1,000 I spent for six of my family members. I will never go back. So disappointed,

UPDATE
I did not have time to address the MOD as it was Thanksgiving and with family. First, there were three options available with the Turkey Dinner for the Salad: House, Ceasar, Gumbo. We were never offered an option, I wanted the gumbo but when we order or meals and xtra broccoli(undercooked), we were never offered a choice. Service was B+, we were seated next to the enrace on the bottom level of the Ruth's in Buckhead and it seemed people(waiers, mgrs, etc.) were always around and no privacy, also in fine dining I do not want to hear RAP music. The dress code said business casual, no hats. People came in in ripped jeans, untucked shirts, hats...REALLYY!! Then I had to order extra gravy to wash down the Turkey!!$200 over all spent on this!!!! What are you as a manger really going to do about this experience? My dad died in Jan and we were celebrating our first Thanksgiving without him at your restaurant!!!We had a 3pm resv. in Buckhead, for 2, under Martin
This is an update: I have spoken at great length to someone over a Ruth's Chris and very happy with the outcome. Going back and trying this again in a couple of weeks and go from there. Thank you M.C!!

T-bone was disappointing ...
Ordered T-bone steak and mashed potatoes. This was my first time ordering from Ruth Criss'. I must say I was disappointed. The steak was very tough and a little salty. I will not order from them again.

food was mediocre
food was mediocre. definitely not worth the exorbitant prices here. won't be back. i can buy a
top sirloin steak at Publix or Walmart for $10 - $12 and cook it myself. And don't get me started on the ridiculous drink prices.
